Shadows of dark creatures, steel clouds floating in the air

Who: Everyone that wishes to take the castle!
What: The second leg of taking the castle!

Where: Millenniummon's Castle on Server

The battle so far hasn’t shown much luck. Has anyone been able to get inside the Castle? Likely not, as the Digimon keep pouring out from every opening, periodically.

How long can this go on? A small dent’s been made in the forces, but not much else. They’re going to need to do a lot more if they want to figure out just what’s inside this Castle, and just why all these savage, mindless Digimon are there.

((OOC: As the second log, this will cover five days of the siege, with two rest days and three fight days. In this log, there will be a few special attacks and events occurring throughout. Remember to request an NPC if you’d like to do battle against one, or if you approve, you can also mark at the start of your thread that you’re okay with us sending an NPC in at some point.))

[Kaldur is gritting his teeth and finally shouts.]

Sedna! We are taking out Monzaemon. You are to prevent as many Digimon from breaching the wall as possible. Maneuver tau.

[Sedna's eyes sparked and the vicious Seadramon seemed to be grinning. That was the Kaldur she loved fighting beside. She wasn't sure what it was but she seemed to be charged with renewed energy. She wasn't ready to quit and neither was her partner.

Kaldur didn't notice it at first, but a reddish-orange light started to glow from a spot on his chest. He looked down when the light got brighter and he felt the digivice on his belt begin to vibrate with energy. His crest had, apparently, be activated. The glow went from the crest, to the digivice, and then Seadramon was bathed in the light. Kaldur could feel her growing beneath his feet.]

Seadramon evolve to...MegaSeadramon

[Sedna's new form was even larger than the last and her body stretched almost back to the forest. Her scales had gone from green to a deep red and Kaldur now found himself with his hand resting on a monstrous, deadly sharp horn. Sedna flicked her head, her seaweed-like mane shifting with the movement. Her voice was now somehow lower and she smirked as she lowered the horn at the bear.]

Thunder Javelin

[A powerful thunderbolt traveled from her horn and blasted towards the bear.]

[The attack hits Monzaemon. It not only hits it, it tears through its arm and causes the bear to roar in pain and, surprisingly, fall back through the opening and into the castle. Unfortunately, this causes the cracks to widen, causing some Digimon to start to pour out in surprise, while others are crushes by the weight of the bear.

Those approaching are completely oblivious to Sedna awaiting their approach.]

[And meanwhile? Golemon's righting himself, only just, and Terra shakes her head, rising on his back to get a better look again-- and she just stares.]

Whoa...

[So that's an Ultimate, huh?]

[Sedna roars triumphantly, which probably gives a brief warning. She lifts her head and the clouds seem to stir above her, turning dark and grey. The air temperature seems to drop and cold winds begin to blow though

Malestrom

[Those digimon coming through the hole in the wall will now be pelted with hale of various sizes. They range from pingpong ball to baseball size and they come down hard. Luckily, the storm seems to be concentrated on the wall and does not hit Kaldur atop MegaSeadramon or Terra and Golemon.]

[It not only keeps Digimon back, but any that try to get out are immediately deleted. Sedna's become a lean, mean, digi-destroying machine. Monzaemon holds on, but just barely.

It looks like one last blast will do it in.]

[Terra stays back. Golemon almost advances, but she knows this is the kind of thing that they don't want to get friendly fire from.]

[Sedna gathers electricity along the edge of her horn again. This time, however, she dives forward towards the giant bear and impales him with the horn, pulsing with electricity.]

Thunder Blade!

[A direct hit. It wipes the Monzaemon out, with the residual electricity from the horn zapping other Digimon. Though savage and mindless, it seems these Digimon have enough of a sense of self-preservation to flee, leaving the Chosen and their partners alone with just an empty corridor.]

[Golemon slowly approaches, and Terra lets out a low whistle.] That was amazing.

[As they flee Sedna's fury seems to abate until she is just looming over everything with a kind of pleased serenity. Oh yeah, they better run or she's going to have herself a snack or two.

Kaldur emerges from her mane of green, seaweed-like hair. His eyes are wide and he appears to be impressed as well. He rests a hand on one of the gold points of her face plate.]

Well done.

Over too soon, but it got the job done. You still want me to block the entrance up?

No. We should move forward while it is cleared. Can you lower your head a bit?

[Sedna obliges and lowers her head enough for Kaldur to jump off and land next to Terra. He turns to her.]

It is apparently the power of the crest. We should move while we can. I am not sure how long Sedna will be able to maintain her current form.

[Terra crawls down from Golemon, nodding.] Even if we can't get too far in, every 'mon down is another we don't have to fight later.

[She looks to the hole.] So, I'm thinking heavy-hitter first? [Obviously referring to Sedana.]

[Kaldur nods, tilting his head up to look at his much larger partner.]

Clear out as much as you can.

[MegaSeadramon nods and drops low to the ground to get in through the hole. It's a bit of a squeeze for her new form, but she is serpent-like enough to squeeze through the space. Kaldur has a feeling she might even have enough power to knock more of the wall down if she truly wanted to.]

[Golemon punches one fist into another.] My turn?

[As soon as Sedna's through, as Digimon are torn between charging the larger enemy and running in fear, Terra nods at him.] Go to work time.

[After Terra's partner heads into the fray Kaldur looks to Terra.]

Ready?

[He leads the way through the hole in the wall and the sight of Sedna blasting digimon with bolts of lightning is what greets him on the other side. No matter how much bigger Sedna got some things just did not change.]

'Course.

[Golemon takes to fighting alongside Sedna, choosing to punch Digimon into her line of attack; set 'em up, let her knock 'em down, so to speak.]
