The city was thrust into a state of chaos with the arrival of Titamon, Lotusmon, and Sakuyamon. Startling secrets were brought out into the open as each of the Digimon took their place on the stage. The partners that the Chosen were paired with the the moment they entered the Digital World were not their real partners, merely SCOPE Virus clones. Perfect replicas, unlike the Digimon that had be fought in the past. Sakuyamon managed to find the REAL Digimon partners, it seemed, and brought them with her to the city.

With the true partners returned to Terminal Tokyo, the Chosen who had all suffered from shifts in their personality were cured of their afflictions. No longer were they under the effects of what made them act out so unlike themselves. But how would they fair now, knowing what they had done during the months leading up to this day?

The battle had already begun among the three Digimon. What remained was a decision from the Chosen: Would they accept the role they were meant to play, or would they be mere observers, content to sit offstage while others gave their all?

[To Perry's credit he doesn't flinch. If anything at the response he tenses and seems ready to block or defend...maybe even fight back. But, he has this look in his eyes like he knows Kovu wouldn't strike and the only way to know he was ready is the stiffening in his shoulders. At the apology he merely shrugs. The kid probably has some issues he is worried about and there isn't much he can say without knowing more.

Perry hadn't been thinking about it at the time, but it was just such a gesture that earned him his crest of reliability. His words caused the crest to glow...

Things seemed to slow down. Bartholomew noticed Titamon drawing his arms back and turned his head.]

Perry! Watch ou---

[Perry tries to grab any of the remaining individuals and pull them out of harms way, but there is simply no time or anywhere to go. He's thrown back as the shockwave hits, even though he tries to hold his ground. Perry hits something soft just as his crest blazes to green light and Bartholomew reacts to it, his form seemingly shielded by the attack.]

Wizardmon digivolve to...Silphymon

[Replacing Bartholomew's Wizardmon form was a mon with bird-like feet and feathers, a humanoid shape and face, and cat-claws and ears. As seemed to be the pattern, Bartholomew retained his trusty fedora. Though it looked a little strange given Silphymon's headgear, it was part of his trademark now.

Taking advantage of the invisibility granted by Doumon, Bartholomew wasted no time in throwing himself at Titamon's center, energy pulsing around his body.]

Dual Sonic!

[As everyone tries to recollect themselves, shield themselves, both Veemon and Bearmon are pushed back by the wind. Titamon may not be able to see them, but Hollyleaf doesn't know that, and the two small Digimon are easy targets. With all the strength and flexibility training she's received, she draws herself up and leaps as her partners fly back, hunching close to try and catch them without the three of them just getting pushed further.

For all intents and purposes, it works, though she's pushed back further, her bare feet scrapping against the ground and Veemon in one and Bearmon in another.

The three of them aren't much help to the battle, but Hollyleaf keeps a tight hold on the two Digimon.]

[The energy duplicate attack worked and stopped the next attack!

Knocking the wind out of him, and bringing him to his knees! The giant is vulnerable.]

[More talismans fly from her sleeves as she moves slowly forward leading the charge behind a blizzard of explosive paper tags. Beastboy is on his feet again and looking around trying to figure out how he can help next. With nothing else to go off of he grips his crest tight.]

Come on Rita...come on! Show everyone what a real show stopper you can be!

[The bright lights from Bartholomew's attack bring Kovu back to reality, chasing the stars away from his vision. He blinks and tries to catch his breath. He can feel a trickle of blood from his hand - he must have gripped the crest so tight it cut into his palm. Strabimon struggles to his feet, stumbling, but he's still ready to fight. Lynxmon is already back up, and he lets out a defiant roar as Rita's attack crashes against Titamon. There's Nala's second partner, too. Titamon can't even move right now.

So it's time for Kovu to stand, too. They're not going to lose this!]

C'mon guys, let's get him!

[Beams of white light flash out from his hand closed around his crest, and his Digivice glows and vibrates against his hip. Lynxmon charges forward, leaping into the air surrounded by fire, until suddenly the flames roar and engulf him, turning blue. He lands early, coiling up on his front paws, but instead of charging again, he stands, letting the blue fire surrounding him fall away. His victorious roar turns into an ear-splitting howl as the fire dies and his new from is revealed.]

FULL MOON KICK!

[The newly Digivolved Weregarurumon leaps high up on Titamon, aiming the powerful kick at the exact spot Bartholomew's Dual Sonic hit just moments earlier.]

Piddo Speed!

[Piddomon had quickly recovered from being buffeted by the shockwaves and launched himself with great speed at Titamon. He aimed his attack, and worked to time it so that he would land the quick blow at the same point as Weregarurumon's Full Moon Kick, just after the other digimon was clear, keeping up the attacks against the villain.

On the ground Nala sat up, shifting forward as she saw Piddomon safe.]
