Who: Kaldur'ahm, Jamie & Open to 8 others

What: The old Trailmon in the Trailmon Graveyard are in desperate need of a bath! Why not help them out and make an old mon happy?

When: May 20

Where: Trailmon Graveyard

Note: One of the missions from this month. Only Kaldur and Jamie were signed up so I assume it's free game to anyone else interested.

Kaldur had to admit the name "Trailmon Graveyard" had been very misleading. He had been rather apprehensive about the job at first. However, the promise of water and Gizamon's own insistence that the name wasn't what it implied at all had convinced him that it might be a good idea. Besides, Kaldur was not a stranger to community service and this was certainly something along those lines.

The Graveyard was, in fact, simply an old trainyard where several of the aforementioned Trailmon had gathered to rest and relax. They also grew quite excited when Kaldur and Gizamon appeared with buckets and sponges on hand. Kaldur set his bucket down and looked at Gizamon, "Should we wait for others or start on our own?"

Gizamon looked around at the Trailmon eagerly lining up. "Kal I think if we wait too long we'll have a train riot on our hands. Better to get started and then whoever else shows up can just jump in, right?"

Kaldur nodded, "Very well." He then called out to the various train digimon, "Who is first?"

The day's nice, and Gotsumon reminds Terra early on that there are some Trailmon who need cleaning, and some Chosen are meeting up to do just that. She's not really doing anything today, and the little guy loves to do work, for some reason, so off they go.

She doesn't know who she'll be helping and is happily surprised to see Kaldur and Gizamon there. "Hey. Got an extra sponge?"

In the middle of hooking up the hose to the water spout Kaldur looked up and smiled. He was glad that he would not be the only one today working on cleaning the Trailmon. "Certainly. Gizamon is putting them in the bucket over there. I was just about to fill it."

Kaldur turned the handle on the faucet and Gizamon called out to him from a few feet away. "It's filling with water Kaldur. Should I put the soap in now?"

Kaldur nodded as he walked over, "It's good to see you Terra and Gotsumon. I think the Trailmon will really appreciate it."

Pulling her hair back into a ponytail, Terra shrugs. "Might as well give back a little, ya know? One of these things carried us to File Island, after all."

Gotsumon just charges over to grab a sponge, so Terra adds, "Don't trip, lil' guy, we're here to clean them, not dent them!"

"'Kay!"

She looks Kaldur right in the eye. "He's gonna trip."

"It certainly wouldn't hurt to show them we are grateful." The Trailmon appeared, at least to him, to be a vital part of the city. If they were expected to get out of Terminal Tokyo more often then they would need to keep relations between the Chosen and the Trailmon good. Which meant, perhaps, a bit of community service every now and then.

Gizamon scoffed, "Ah, the Trailmon can handle a few dings. It's not like it's easy to bust a Trailmon." The bubbles began to rise out of the tub and Gizamon pulled the hose out and held it up to Kaldur who would have more dexterity to spray the Trailmon with.

Kaldur shook his head and called out to the Trailmon, "I am about to hose you down first." He wanted to give them warning and several of the Trailmon made sure their windows were rolled up so that the interior cars would not get wet. Kaldur then proceeded to spray them down.

As she's never really washed a car -- or a train -- before, the idea to use a hose doesn't cross her mind until now. "Are there two of those? Split it in half, get it done faster."

From a few Trailmon down, a CLANG and Gotsumon's whining, "owwww...!"

He tripped.

Kaldur nodded his head towards a train platform. "There are supplies over there. I think I saw another hose or two and there should be more taps around there as well."

Kaldur winced at the loud clang. He peered in the direction Gotsumon had taken off and looked back to Terra, "Will he be all right?"

"Gotsumon is a rock and Trailmon are made of metal...I think they're fine Kal," Gizamon retorted.

He finished hosing down one of the Trailmon and nodded to Gizamon, "All right. We are ready for the soap." Gizamon hopped to it, quite literally, and started rubbing the Trailmon down with the sponge. The Trailmon started laughing after only a few moments. "I'm...I'm sorry it tickles!"

As she heads to the platform and grabs a hose, Terra calls over to her partner, "You okay, Gots?!"

"...Yeeeaaaah..."

A small giggle slips out of her mouth as she powers up her hose. "Get a sponge, rocky."

Out of courtesy she waits until he's out of the way before spraying down a Trailmon, who starts making soft noises of pleasure. So her first car, train, whatever she washes is one that talks back. Well, this sure is a story for her parents. "'Least they can tell us where to aim."

Kaldur nodded. He figured digimon were tougher than they looked and if a simple fall was going to take one out he'd have to reevaluate his judgement of the species as a whole.

Washing the Trailmon is actually a relaxing job though. Kaldur returned his attention to the Trailmon that was being washed by Gizamon. "All right, hose her down." Kaldur grinned as a thought occurred to him and, instead of spraying the train, aimed the water spout at Gizamon first. "HEY!" Gizamon sputtered.

Kaldur laughed, "Sorry. I missed." The grin was a way of saying that he hadn't and he shifted the water towards the train digimon instead.

Gizamon puffed her cheeks out but then smirked back, "You just wait Kaldur'ahm." She hopped away to go get more soap in her bucket and to plot her revenge.

"I am not too worried about that."

Now, this more than fascinates Terra. Kaldur always seems so quiet and serious, so she's figured he's sort of...well, no that he doesn't know how to have fun, just that he's always so focused! Fun comes later. But...now is later, isn't it?

So she smiles. "Hmm, water-boy, huh?"

Another cry from down farther; Gotsumon tripped again. "'m fine!"

Well, this certainly wasn't a mission he felt he had to be serious on. He was washing trains. That hardly called for his usual focus, let alone his typical seriousness. Besides, he was friends with people like Wally and Robin...that called for a sense of humor at the very least.

"It was my power. This is the closest I can get to it at the moment." He gestured with the hose and finished spraying off the digimon. The Trailmon tooted her horn and pulled away, much shinier now than when she had arrived. Another Trailmon pulled up to Kaldur's area and he started hosing this one down. "Gizamon's a water digimon...I think she'll be all right. I wouldn't spray her if I didn't think she'd be okay with it."

As Gotsumon begins to jump up and down to sponge up a Trailmon Terra's finished hosing down, she switches her target to a yellow Trailmon with very excited eyes.

"Oh, right, I mean, kinda figured, because..." With her free hand she gestures to her own neck. "Ya know. Gills."

Kaldur chuckled at that. "I suppose it would have been a little incongruous if I had suggested I had fire abilities."

He had finished hosing his Trailmon down but it seemed Gizamon had vanished. He looked around. Surely she hadn't been that upset about his attack with the hose? It was an after thought that prompted him to look up, mostly from being around Robin on a regular basis. There, squatting on top of a nearby Trailmon was Gizamon. She had a bucket filled with water and an evil smirk of her own. "Revenge! HAHAHA"

Kaldur didn't get a chance to dodge as Gizamon threw the bucket of water at Kaldur, but thankfully she held on to the bucket. Hopefully Terra wasn't standing too close to get doused as well.

The sudden flash of water! Terra gasps with a laugh and a grin and leaps to the side. The water only splashes her shoes. So therefore, she feels absolutely and completely justified in cracking the heck up at the event.

Despite the unexpected shower, Kaldur managed not to sputter...too much. He wiped the water from his eyes and frowned up at Gizamon. She stuck her tongue out at him in reply, "Oh come on. You were totally asking for it"

He couldn't stay mad because Gizamon had a point. That and Terra's laughter certainly wasn't helping. Kaldur's frown cracked into a smile, "I suppose I was. Are you going to do your job now, Gizamon?"

Gizamon waved at him dismissively, "Yeah, yeah. Lemme just go get my sponge again."

Kaldur watched her leave, "I see you did not get wet, Terra."

"Nope, I'm lucky that..." Terra's voice dies in her throat and she takes a step back. "Oh no. Kaldur. Kaldur, it's the Trailmon we're supposed to be washing, not each other--"

One of the Trailmon decided to pipe in, "Oh, don't mind us, you can get wet too."

"Yep, we don't mind dears."

Kaldur shrugged and added his own thoughts, "Robin explained a car wash to me once...I am fairly certain he said it was very likely that the workers get just as wet as the vehicles." This is what happens when Kaldur hangs around people like Robin or Wally for too long. With a playful smile he turns the hose on Terra, putting his thumb over the nozzle for maximum spray.

Gizamon, having fetched her sponge again, noticed this and laughed. "Hah! Get her Kaldur!"

At lesat he was nice enough to not soak her completely and Kaldur lowered the hose as soon as he was sure that he had at least gotten her wet.

"No, n--!!" Water. Behold, water. Terra's glad Kaldur didn't flood her with it, but her clothes are soggy and her hair's wet. She spits out water and wrings out a strand.

"Terra! Look, Terra, I scrubbed up a Trailmon, I-- whoa..." Gotsumon comes prancing over, observing the two wet teenagers. "What happened to you?"

A quiet, blank stare aimed at Gotsumon.

And then Terra's turned her hose on him too, leading to him squeaking and jumping, trying to get away from it.

Kaldur is as close to laughing as he usually gets: a light chuckle and a genuine smile. Clearly he is amused by your soaking wet look there. "Do not worry, I brought towels just in case."

Now begs the question as to whether or not he had this planned from the start. You're not likely to get an answer though, only a smile.

Gizamon has no such qualms and her laughter practically brings her to tears when Terra gets Gotsumon wet as well. If she wasn't already on four legs Kaldur couldn't help but wonder if she would fall over from laughing as hard as she was. Instead, Gizamon managed to pull herself together and wiped a tear from her eye, "Oh man...that was great. Hahaha, Gotsumon you should have seen your face."

A whine from the little mineral Digimon sounds as Terra turns back the hose. "Not fair, not fair! It wasn't funny! It wasn't!"

Meanwhile, Terra's raising an eyebrow at Kaldur. Did he plan this indeed. Well. She sighs. "Naw, Gots, it was pretty funny, but I can show you something else amusing."

"...Huh?"

She sprays her hose at Kaldur and Gizamon, intermittently.

Water fight, ahoy.

To Terra's credit neither Gizamon or Kaldur saw this coming. Kaldur gasped in surprise from the action and Gizamon yelped. Not that either were hurt or even bothered by the water, it was really out of surprise more so than anything else. It didn't take long for the aquatic pair to retaliate. Kaldur brought the hose back to bear on Terra while Gizamon decided to try a soak everyone approach. She tilted her head back and blasted water into the air from her mouth, "Water Shot!"

The jet of water flew up into the air and, of course, started falling down on everyone in the train yard like rain.

In response, Terra lets out a cackle of laughter and tries to aim so the water from her hose and Kaldur's collide, which creates a back-spray for both of them. It keeps splashing in her face and several strands of wet hair are stuck to her forehead, but she doesn't stop. With Gizamon's water, it's kind of futile to fight against getting wet anyway.

Gotsumon's a wimp, though, he yelps and charges inside a Trailmon for cover, to which the Digimon protests, "Hey, hey, water on the outside, not in!"

Kaldur laughs as well and after a few more minutes of spray finally calls out. "Don't you think we should perhaps get back on task now? The Trailmon may get upset if we keep this up much longer."

And Terra follows suit, ringing out her hair with a grin. "Hey, you started it, dude. Toss me one of those towels."

"True enough." And now he was ending it. After all they were here for a job, as fun as it may be. He picked up a towel and tossed it to Terra. He then looked to the Trailmon that Gotsumon had fled towards. "It is alright. We're done now."

As Terra dries herself off, Gotsumon retreats from the grumpy Trailmon.

"You sure better be!" It shakes off, as much as a Trailmon can.

"Guess we got a little carried away." Terra wipes some water from her face.
