Dressed and clean Jinx and Noir set out into the world. Her sharp pink eyes were as always, drinking in the world around her and processing it with the mind of an opportunist. That wasn't just a Chosen walking to work with their partner, they were a potential mark.

That building wasn't just a solid sturdy place for rent to a business that had yet to be determined. It was potentially a hiding place, or a good roof to jump from due to how close it was to the other buildings on either side. She could easily keep running from one roof to the next without even slowing her pace.

The Meeting Hall at the top of the hill was her first stop. It would offer a perfect view of the city and perhaps give her some inspiration for where to go next. She began the trek up the hill while Noir once again began to narrate.

"With a look of determination the pale slender beauty took to the hill without breaking stride. Her long legs pushing her higher and higher towards the monument to bureaucracy and under the table deals like there was treasure to be found and she had some debts to pay."

"Why do you do that?" She finally asked despite her instinct to simply swat him again.

"It keeps things interesting." He answered back casually. landing on her back and clinging to her shoulders like a backpack.

"Hey! Did I tell you this was a free ride?"

"But my wings get tired." He complained.

"Then walk!" She didn't particularly enjoy not being able to see him while he hung off her back.

"What with these stubby legs? It'll take me forever. Come on be a pal!"

she sighed and continued to the main entrance of the Meeting Hall tugging it open. "Fine but you are NOT allowed on my head. I saw some of the other...whatever you ares doing it. But you're not allowed."

"Oh I would never dream of messing with that hair doll." He snickered pleased to have finally gotten his way with something.
