The lightning not only snaps the line, it seems to cause a reaction in Coelamon's mouth, where the hook is embedded. The pole goes flying, and the rest of the line is engulfed in scarlet light.

Coelamon coughs, chokes, and it looks like shoots another Water Bullet-- but no. It's a small sphere of red light, with a tag and crest, that for all intents and purposes looks to have been grabbed by the hook. The Coelamon in response appears dizzy, but still angry.

The crest stops in front of Waver. It's his crest, the Crest of Tenacity.
