Always waiting on a dame. Ain't that just the way? Here he is in his Sunday best, sitting all by his lonesome in the back of the bar. Then again, Garrus isn't exactly in a position to be complaining. The number of dates he's missed out on for stakeouts or lord knows what else has earned Shepard a few free passes.

Not that she'd ever use 'em. She'll show, just might take a while. Nothing for it but to wait, so that's what Garrus is going to do. He settles back in to the worn leather of his booth, and finishes the whiskey he'd been nursing before signalling the barkeep for another.

Long as the drinks keep coming, he'll be just fine.

"Yeah, yeah," Garrus replies. She's got spunk, he'll give her that. "Maybe I do, but it's just because I care. So try not to give me a damn heart attack and becareful, alright kiddo?"

"Always such a stick in the mud." It's nice to have someone keep an eye out for you, that much she can admit. "Guess I should take care of some business before I scram. Got the lowdown on something going down at the Tower."

He rolls his eyes. Stick in the mud his ass.

He sits forward a little when they get to business, taking another drink. "Well? Going to keep me in suspense?"

[pitchick]

Yoko moves in herself, keeping her voice low enough that it was still audible to Garrus, yet not so much to anyone passing by. "Two nights from now, midnight, there's going to be a meeting. I didn't catch what it's about, but the tip should be good."

He nods, fingers tapping idly on the table as he listens. "Alright, I can work with that. Anyone we know going to be making an appearance?"
