Well, if Kyubimon was useless, Tailmon only had one course of action.
"Try- Try the face!" Alex called out. "The nose should be sensitive!"
With a nod and a call of "Cat Punch!", Tailmon ran forward, jumped off of Kyubimon's back, and aimed a fist right for the wolf's nose.
