What: Guren reaches his snapping point with a Virus-infected Saori
Where: Public Training building closest to the Newbie Apartments
When: November 1st
Warnings: Heavily implied injuries
[Guren watches Saori focused punches and kicks on a punching bag. He watches until he finally sighs.]
Saori.
What? [Her eyes never strays from the bag. Guren’s ears stayed low. ]
I-It’s just..we should get back to the apartment. You haven’t talked to anyone and if you did you’d--
[She gives the bag one final punch before she whipping around to stomp over to where the Elecmon was.]
Oh and who died and made you my nanny?! Look, I can take care of myself. I’m not some invalid 89 year old. I’m not just Saori Nakagawa. I’m also Inari. Well, former now thanks to this stupid place. If I had my powers, restoring balance to your world would’ve been done and over with. I had enough problems to deal with in my world.
S-Saori, no...I’m just worried for you! C’mon, why won’t you talk?!
[There’s a loud smack as she reaches over to slap him.]
You don’t know me. You have no right to barge into my personal life like this! I’ve fought every sort of supernatural creature that means to harm humanity. So yeah I hate it that I’ve been reduced as a means to evolve yourself when I can be an asset in battle.
[During the entire rant, Guren could only hold onto his swollen cheek and stare at the ground. Rationally, he knew it probably was the virus talking but something inside kept nagging him. He always felt there was a distance between them. Even though he was the only one to know about her other identity, he wondered if she did it out of sincerity or obligation. He ground his teeth and his body glowed with a light. At first she thought he’d digivolve to Leppamon but is surprised to see a Bakemon instead. She snorts and gets into a fighting stance.]
Is that really supposed to scare me?
HELL’S HAND!
[Saori sidesteps but got knocked down to the ground. Her arms try to push herself up but the pain is too much and...blood? Her hand reaches up to touch her left cheek. Heavy cuts and bleeding. Without any healing powers, she’d easily bleed out and die. New strategy. Heal now and then punish him later. Now just fueled by adrenaline, she runs for the doors.]
