If you want rules, that's the go to guy," she snorted, holding her free hand out slightly and turning it palm up, giving Lacey all the time she wanted.

"Dogs are sort of rare in homes back where I'm from. You need to have a plot of property to have medium or large animals and half my life was spent inner city where no one has space. Plus the Japanese aren't terribly big on dogs indoors. Cats, sure, but not dogs," the girl mused, sliding her hand away to grip Shannon's.
