Solarmon turned to face Duo about the same time the child jumped back in surprise from the "sudden" appearance of Rita.

"What the hell? Where did you come from?!" Duo took a couple of steps back, but ended up stumbling over some rubble and fell on his butt. He winced and Solarmon floated closer to him.

"Duo, are you okay?"

"Yeah yeah, I'm fine." He huffed and glared at Rita. "Why'd you go and sneak up on me like that?!"

Solarmon simply sighed before turning his attention to Beastboy and the others. "I apologize for him. He's...rather jumpy."
