It was just as Koushirou said: a good chunk of Terminal Tokyo was severely damaged. No matter how hard the Digimon of the city tried to put it together, they just weren't strong enough to clear away some of the more heavier pieces of debris. Deputymon, who had decided to lead the efforts to clean up the city was in dire need of help, and hoped that Koushirou's message (and offer of compensation) had reached the Chosen. A week should be plenty of time to clean up, especially since so many could become very strong Digimon indeed.

[[OOC: As stated, the Chosen will only be responsible with the clean up efforts for the week. For every day your characters help out, they will receive 500 BITS. You may talk with Deputymon himself, or you may mingle with other Chosen. It's free game if you wish to plot with others or just tag around.]]

Another day, another mess. Life in the digital world, Shark realized, was dangerously similar to life in the world he came from. He was beyond wishing this wasn't the case. Trouble follows him wherever it goes and as of recent times, it was large scale world affecting trouble.

The thing is, whenever he gets involved with trouble, he feels obligated to help clean it up.

Not being attached to one area or another, Shark wandered somewhat aimlessly through the city with his partners helping whenever he felt like it, which was far more often than one might have expected of him.

He noticed Kaldur and his partners hard as work. That guy...he's seen him on the network a few times. And they've talked once. Well, he's pretty sure they did because Shark had an opinion of him as a "pretty okay guy."

"Oi. Need help?"

Kaldur dumped the pile of rocks into a wheel-barrow and looked up to spy Shark and his digimon. He looked over his shoulder at the remaining piles of rock still waiting to be broken down and hauled off.

"If you would like. It would certainly make the work go by faster," Kaldur replied. If Shark was willing then Kaldur was ready to accept the help.

Sedna and Scipio were hardly paying attention though as Sedna had decided it was HER turn to show off at busting a rock. She curled into a tight ball and started to spin like an electric saw Spiral Edge!

Wonderful. It was time to get to work. Perhaps the city would look something resembling presentable in a reasonable amount of time.

Gotsumon watched the rock breaking displays with interest. Not bad, not bad at all. But she thought she could one up them. After all, a rock would know how to best break a rock, right?

"My turn!" she turned to a nearby large chunk of debris and punched it with all her might. Behind her, Betamon rolled her eyes and scampered off to help in a more civilized fashion.

"Excellent show." Scipio replied, clearly in admiration of Gotsumon's show. Sedna wasn't as easy to impress of course. She decided to continue working on her own, sawing through more of the rocks. Kaldur followed behind his partners collecting more rocks. "You all are doing well."

If there's one thing Gotsumon has in abundance, it's pride, so she couldn't help but preen a bit at Scipio's praise. Missing out on Sedna was a bit of a letdown of course.

"If you're done showing off, Gotsumon," Shark sighed, "there's more work to do."

"Well, then I'll just work faster so we get done sooner," Gotsumon replied. "Do you think digivolving will help?"

There wasn't really a problem with competition as long as it got work done in Kaldur's opinion. Kaldur dropped the rocks into the bin that would be moved later. "Working faster may only lead to sloppy work. We have other people working around us, there is no need to speed up the process and rebuild a bad city," Kaldur replied.

Scipio nodded and got back to work, his long sleeves not seeming to impeded his ability to move he rocks as needed. And unlike the other two digimon present, he was quite dedicated to his task.

"It depends on what your Champion stage is," Kaldur remarked to the question. He knew Sedna's own Champion form would probably not be any more effective for the current task.

"It's Garurumon," Gotsumon answered with obvious pride. Garurumon was a Champion worth of her beautiful, gracious, powerful self. Sleek and agile, it moved with both finesse and deadly force-

"So you'll lose your arms and instead carry rocks in your mouth," Betamon interrupted. "Great idea, just what I expect from a genius like you. Make it happen."

Argh, that stupid frog! Who does she think she is?

"I'll stay like this then," Gotsumon mutters, that previous pride now wounded. "At least I can digivolve."

Shark, who was busy hauling some rubble, sighs and gives Kaldur an apologetic look, something that he rarely does.

"Sorry about them, all they do is squabble."

Whoops. Apparently Kaldur had started a fight. He really hadn't meant for that to happen. Although the Betamon did have a point. He sighed, "Perhaps you can try later. We will need a lot of muscle to haul the debris away once we have it piled up." Seadramon wasn't exactly made for that kind of work, so a Garurumon might be good for that job.

"It is all right. Mine do as well from time to time." It seemed to be a common thing between the old and new partners actually.

If it made Kaldur feel any better, no, it wasn't his fault. Those two always found a reason to tear into each other. If it wasn't Kaldur's words, it would be something else. Probably whether it was better to go for bigger or smaller debris first or if it was better to hit the rubble with close or far range attacks.

"Mine do all the time," Shark sighed. Sure, partners fought a lot, but his seemed to do so more than any other Chosen's. He's getting quite fed up with it. "I don't know what to do with them."

Kaldur glanced at his two partners. He also thought about his own friends back home, some of whom butted heads all the time and others got along very well. "Sometimes you just have to give them time and the right experiences. I have friends who were always distrustful of the other or just trying to show off...but when things were serious they knew how to cooperate."

Give them time and space, huh? But what Shark worried about was how much time and how much space they needed. As the attack that caused this devastation had proved, things like time were a luxury. He's never taken them both into an actual battle, but situation like that was no time to find out an unknown in cooperation.

"Fine, I'll trust them. They better not let me down, though."
