Hit by the A-Train, crashed in an airplane

Who: Deputymon and the Chosen of Terminal Tokyo
What: City Clean Up!
When: December 8-14
Where: The damaged parts of the city

It was just as Koushirou said: a good chunk of Terminal Tokyo was severely damaged. No matter how hard the Digimon of the city tried to put it together, they just weren't strong enough to clear away some of the more heavier pieces of debris. Deputymon, who had decided to lead the efforts to clean up the city was in dire need of help, and hoped that Koushirou's message (and offer of compensation) had reached the Chosen. A week should be plenty of time to clean up, especially since so many could become very strong Digimon indeed.

[[OOC: As stated, the Chosen will only be responsible with the clean up efforts for the week. For every day your characters help out, they will receive 500 BITS. You may talk with Deputymon himself, or you may mingle with other Chosen. It's free game if you wish to plot with others or just tag around.]]

"I know, but I thought your partner would keep you from coming," he said, breathing a bit heavily once he finally reached her. It seemed his load was rather heavy...

"So, um, how ya doing? Was I able to help a few days ago...?"

"Oh, Miss Whirl. I convinced her that doing this would be fun and good for her!" That and Jetstream refused to go out and buy more liquor for Whirl if he didn't help clean up, so really it all worked out.

Not that the Impmon will say that outloud, and at Agumon's other questions she nods actually approaching him and gesturing at his load. Pretty much wordlessly saying she'll help him with that.

"Yeah, it helped a lot. Especially since one of Miss Whirl's friends showed up to help and well..." Her sentence trails off into a nervous laugh.

"... I see. Well, that's good, then!" Agumon replied. "I'm glad you were able to do that...!"

He sighed, and looked down.

"... I figured... aniki and I should help since... well, some of this mess is our fault..."

Before he could could feel guilty, though, he heard what Impmon said. "... Huh? What happened?"

"Oh um, well that's good of you and," she fidgets because she's pretty sure telling Agumon what actually went down between Whirl and Wheeljack would not be a good thing.

"They cleared up some stuff, yeah. Stuff."

Jetstream is a horrible liar, now come on Agumon let her help you out.

"... I see."

Agumon completely missed that, taking Jetstream totally at her word.

"... anyway, um. I wanted to ask you... would you be interested in doing something with me...?"

"You mean other than this?"

Jetstream is just going to actively lighten Agumon's load now, taking some of the rocks out of the bag on his back so she can carry them. Since her subtle hints were not working.

"... yeah, like... a movie, or dinner, or... whatever the humans do when they spend time together...!"

And then he notices what she's doing. "H-Hey! You don't need to do that!"

Sorry, did Agumon say something about her stopping? Because she didn't hear it.

But she did hear the first part about doing things together and it's only because Jetstream is holding onto some heavy rocks that she doesn't just drop everything and hide in embarrassment. Instead she's blushing furiously.

"Um, it's... fine I got it," she mutters, trying to completely ignore the other parts.

"... is something wrong?" Agumon asked, tilting his head to the side. "You look like you're gonna overheat... have you been working too hard?"

As if assuming that was the case, he reached forward and took the rocks back, effortlessly tossing them back into his carry-all.

"... and um. You didn't answer my question!"

"No nothing is wrong and I didn't hear a question," she sort of flails now that her arms are free.

"A-anyway we should be working on cleaning up!"

... And she's starting to walk quickly. Away. From Agumon.

"... I asked you if you wanted to do something with me!" Agumon replied, sounding very confused. How could she not have heard him? He didn't understand this at all.

"Well we are, we're cleaning!"

Jetstream is going to just. Focus on the task at hand, so Agumon should do the same thing. Before something ha--

Oh look, it's Whirl coming up to Jetstream and promptly bonking her on the head.

"You're the one who frikking said we need to do this, so stop lazing about," the Autobot said, not noticing Agumon just yet.

Agumon froze when he saw Whirl... he'd attacked her (him?) too, hadn't he?

But he didn't have any right to treat his partner like that! ~~Even if he and aniki hit each other all the time...~~

"Hey! Don't hit her like that!"

As if encouraged by Agumon yelling at him, Whirl bopped Jetstream on the head one more time before leaning on his partner like and arm rest. Oddly enough Jetstream doesn't look all that bothered by this turn of events.

Probably because Whirl wasn't actually hitting that hard.

"She's my partner, you know," Whirl speaks up, eying Agumon. "And aren't you the piece of scrap that tried to kill me and killed her? Shouldn't you be off, I don't, being a frikking nut case?"

"That was because of the Virus! What's your excuse for treating her so badly all the time?!"

Agumon growled, baring his teeth. "She got hurt trying to protect you! I wasn't even in my right mind and I remember that! The least you could do is show some gratitude!"

Enjoy that 'pffft' coming from Whirl, as he is still leaning on Jetstream.

"Yeah, you're kinda dumb then, cause all that got her a real name," as he speaks he's going to idly look at his nails. He's seen some folks around here do that, also he has a hunch it'll piss off Agumon more.

"Since I used to call her Cannon Fodder."

And all this just earns a sigh from Jetstream.

Agumon stared for several moments, before his face contorted into a snarl and the Dinosaur-like digimon bore his teeth.

"She should have had a name from the start," he growled. "Not something that says she's EXPENDABLE!"

A silence then...

Whirl starts to laugh.

"Do you have a name then? Other than... What was it your slagging psychopath organic called you, 'follower'?" He asks with a smirk, still leaning on Jetstream. "That sounds even worse than Cannon Fodder."

Agumon scoffed. "That's just what I am to him! I'm the follower and he's my aniki! I follow him because I wanted to learn from his example!"

He turned back towards Jetstream.

"... I won't tell you to disobey him, but... you deserve better than this, Jetstream!"

Whirl just snorts, going to leave but... Giving Jetstream a pat on the head first before leaving.

Jetstream actually lets out a breath she wasn't aware she had been holding in and gives Agumon a small smile.

"Actually, Miss Whirl is a lot better now. Oddly enough it happened after the whole," she gestures at Agumon. "Thing with you and your partner."

Agumon... just stood there. And stared. Looking like he'd been punched in the gut.

"I... I see," he choked out, before turning away. "U-Um. I'll be seeing you, then... I'm sorry I caused trouble."

And now... he's going to be hurrying off.
