It was just as Koushirou said: a good chunk of Terminal Tokyo was severely damaged. No matter how hard the Digimon of the city tried to put it together, they just weren't strong enough to clear away some of the more heavier pieces of debris. Deputymon, who had decided to lead the efforts to clean up the city was in dire need of help, and hoped that Koushirou's message (and offer of compensation) had reached the Chosen. A week should be plenty of time to clean up, especially since so many could become very strong Digimon indeed.

[[OOC: As stated, the Chosen will only be responsible with the clean up efforts for the week. For every day your characters help out, they will receive 500 BITS. You may talk with Deputymon himself, or you may mingle with other Chosen. It's free game if you wish to plot with others or just tag around.]]

Unlike the last time they had met, Duo didn't seem as hostile. The sound of Tatara's voice causes the child to lift his head off his knees just enough to let his eyes be seen. He hoped he came off as more tired than upset.

"'Lo." Well, it was definitely a better greeting than before. "What are you doing here?"

"I needed a break." For his own reason, but this Digimon didn't need to know. With a sigh, he put his forehead against his knees.

Duo shrugged and lifted his head up once more. "I'm a little tired, yeah. Solarmon's been dragging me all over to pick up bigger pieces of stuff, and I can't lift it and it gets mad when I point out pieces it could pick up easy and I'm tired of it getting all upset..."

He's really not having a good time.

Duo just bobbed his head in a nod before he pressed his lips to his knees. He knows he'll be okay, but it all still sucks NOW. It was bad enough that all yelling left him exhausted, but this was just bringing back bad memories. Hopefully after today he could just go curl up in his room. That was all assuming Solarmon would let him.

Duo barely moved when the Digimon called out to his Chosen. In fact, all he did was glance at Hisame out of the corner of his eyes. The guy stopped and Duo visibly tenses. Is he going to get yelled at for what happened before? He didn't want to hear it. Not now. Not ever! He was ready to run if he had to. He could run and neither of them could catch him.

But he'd wait. He'd wait and see what happened before he took off. This Tatara meant well, right? So maybe this other guy was okay, too?

Duo doesn't move, doesn't speak. He's not sure if this Hisame guy can even help, but the fact that he hasn't left is signal enough that he's willing to listen.

If only for a little bit. He at least owes it to the Hagurumon. He's trying real hard.

Duo's quiet for a moment, watching Hisame a little longer before he shifts to press his forehead to his knees. "The jerk doesn't get it."

Welp...it's a start?

"I can't pick up the big pieces like him. I tell him that and he just yells at me. I try to point out the easier ones that he can get to, and it's more yelling."

His arms tighten around his legs.

"He doesn't get it. He doesn't get it at all. No one does." The last words are muffled more by his knees, and the quiet tone he uses doesn't make it easier to understand.

Duo gives a faint nod against his knees. "Yeah. But you won't get it either." He lifts his head just enough to stare at Hisame. "You don't even know me." And neither does his partner, but that's besides the point.

Duo is quiet, hesitant before he finally speaks.

"M'Duo." It's muffled by his knees, but still clear enough to be heard. "Who are you? All of you." Yes, that means Tatara and Mao as well.

"You mean the big ugly thing?" It's blurted out without so much as a single thought to the consequences that could follow. "I like this one okay," he says as he nods to Tatara. "And I guess you're okay, too. Maybe. I don't know yet."

Duo nodded to Hisame. Well now he had a name for the big mouthed brat.

It was Tatara that actually gets Duo to even smile, even if it's more of a smirk.

"Of course it's a cool name. I picked it out."

"Well, no one else was gonna give me a name. So I just...picked my own." Of course, that statement just made him remember why he chose the name he did. Solo...

He huffs and frowns some, looking away from the pair again.
