Kit had paused, bending over her wagon to resettle the remaining loves a little more evenly, with the tagged ones on top, and to see how many spare ones she had left, and thus didn't notice Duo at first. As a matter of fact, it was Emerick who spotted him, getting Kit's attention and pointing him out with a fore paw.

"Hey, Kit, look," she said. "Isn't that Duo?" It was honestly a little hard to tell with the boy all bundled up like that, but she was pretty sure it was him.

Emerick wasn't really sure how she felt about Duo, or his partner Solarmon, though she didn't envy the other digimon the task of trying to keep Duo out of trouble. Still, while Duo could undoubtedly be abrasive, there never seemed to be any ill-intent behind it, only childish stubbornness and a general lack of tact. Besides, Kit seemed to like him, so he couldn't be all that bad.

"Huh?", Kit looked up, directing her gaze to where Emmy was pointing. "Oh! Yeah, it is! Hi, Duo!" She waved at him to let him know she'd seen him, then headed over with the wagon in tow.

"How long have you been sitting here?", she asked when she got to the bench.
