She snorted softly, a hint of a smile blossoming as she released him, knowing he was probably through with her and not wanting to press for more. It just...it felt good to just hold him. To hold someone and not be afraid of anything going wrong. She wanted to keep hugging him, but it wouldn't have changed anything or made it better. Wouldn't have made the time she was gone shorter.

"Its hard to believe I was only gone such a short while for you all but for me..." she trailed off, expression darkening as she shook her head. "Nevermind. I'm just happy to be back, and happy to come back to the people I care about. I'm sorry." Gods, but she'd be saying that a lot, wouldn't she? Apologizing for something she couldn't control. Typical.
