Pit Stop On the Yellow Brick Road
Who: Yang (her partner, Honey) and YOU (plus maybe some wild Digimon)
What: Yang is heading for the new location but makes a stop on Autumn Leaf Island to feast, meet the locals, and maybe get some fun toys.
Where: Autumn Leaf Island
When: January 4th
Extra: I can change to action style if that is preferred, this is VERY open!
Yang stretched as she got off the Trailmon, grunting and then making a sound of pleasure as her spine seemed to realign. "Man. That was rough." She stopped on the platform and turned to her Bearmon partner, Honey, "Did you get any sleep on the ride?"
"It was difficult with you sleeping on me, Yang," Honey replied in a low voice, nearly lost to the sounds of Digimon shuffling off of the Trailmon.
Yang grinned and grabbed the Bearmon up into a hug, "And I didn't even thank you for that! You're such a sweetie you know!"
"Yang," he choked out.
Bearmon struggled and pawed at her arm until she deposited him back on the ground. He gasped for air but Yang merely rested a hand on her hip, purple eyes darting around, "So, where are we?"
"It's called Autumn Leaf Island," Honey replied, pointing at a sign above the terminal platform.
Yang's eyes flicked up to read it and she smiled. "So it is. Well, seems like a more exciting place than that sandy place. A bustling bizarre is just the place we need to be." Honey's brow furrowed, his paw raised in a question before he sighed, he should have known Yang would want to do more than just ride the train.
"What did you have in mind?"
The blonde pumped a fist into the air, "Shopping!"
Honey groaned.
"Oh relax, we'll be gathering info too. We need to check this place out. I scoured places like this back home all the time. We'll be fine~ Besides, I was sleeping on you and I heard your stomach growl, like, ten times. We should at least grab some grub." Yang bumped him with her leg affectionately before bouncing out of the terminal and heading into the heart of the little town.
[OOC: Yang will be wandering all over Autumn Leaf Island. Feel free to find her anywhere and I'll be putting in a request for a NPC digimon encounter too, to spice things up.]

"But at least we're alive." Noir pointed out settling down on a counter top so he could rest his headwings. "And you got the important stuff didn't you?"
"Well I got what was practical. Still there's alot of memories that went up in smoke when the building was destroyed."
no subject
Well, okay, she'd only miss that a little bit. Tony Stark was not the best of roommates and it certainly made rooming with three other girls seem a lot nicer.
She gestured at the flying pig-like creature. "He's got a point though, we made it out alive...though I wish I could have done more to take that psycho down." Yang was not used to feeling useless. "Besides, memories are up here," she pointed to her head, "Not in material stuff...unless you count pictures I guess..."
no subject
She wasn't even strong enough to beat the Teen Titans let alone someone with city destroying power.
no subject
Yang sighs, clenching one of her hands into a fist, "But I would still rather try punching it than not fighting at all."

"The Digimon seem to be our great equalizer here. So long as we can get them to evolve into their stronger forms we can defend ourselves. It's not like my world where random people get super powers."
Fate was funny like that.
"Then we've got the crests which seem to speed things up...but some Digimon just evolve naturally. So I guess the real question is, are they stronger if they evolve naturally, or if we force the issue?" She looked to the Digimon in attendance which led to Charm shrugging and Noir coughing, clearly unsure of the answer.
if you want jinx to get caught or get these two in a fight let me know XDb
"The naturally evolved...like that Jupitermon guy right or Titamon? He was supposed to be really powerful and I don't think either of them had a Chosen from what I've heard." It did seem like a good question to ask. Too bad it also didn't look like any of their partners had a clue about these things. She looks down to Honey to confirm but he only shrugs like Charm.
"Guess we'd just have to see. Besides, in a fight, strength is really only one part that determines the outcome. I mean, it's a huge advantage, but even a little guy can overpower someone that's stronger than them with the right strategy."
Nah I think they're ok for now~
"This is true. Unfortunately the same is true in reverse. With enough strength and power even the most brilliant schemers can be ruined. It's all a balancing act."
Moving away from the table full of sunglasses the pink haired girl found a rack of jackets and began checking them over.
"Also I know that the worlds are mashing together and stuff...but am I the only one who finds it a little odd that there's mostly human stuff around here? Even the shops are all built for humans. Do Digimon just not have their own shops?"
Noir finally spoke up "Listen, if you're gonna stand around all day picking holes in the logic of a universe that was created mysteriously when two other universes crashed together we're gonna be here forever. You already know that Charm and I can't answer anything."
Charm snickered wickedly "Well I could answer all your questions. I just choose not to."
Noir gave her a wilting look, clearly he didn't believe her.
"I suppose your right, but a girl has to occupy her mind with something."

Yang puts down the glasses with a sigh. Unfortunately, she doesn't have anything to trade with or much money to part with. Maybe some day she could come back after she'd gotten some earnings. It wouldn't hurt to keep looking though, so Yang moved on over to another pile...this one consisting of bags of various shapes and styles.
She looked up when Jinx mentioned the human attire. Yang couldn't help but tilt her head in consideration of that. It was true that it was pretty strange that there would be more human shapes in the clothes. "Well...I've noticed a lot of the digimon don't seem to go for clothes," Yang jerked her head towards her Bearmon, "Aside from the occasional accessory." She turned back to Jinx, "So maybe they don't need shops like us and so fill it with stuff from our worlds."
She smiled at her idea, "What do you think? Although, I guess your partner there has a point. Does it really matter as long as the deals are good?"
no subject
"It might, or it might not. Until we find a reason it might matter it doesn't matter. The important matters tend to be our day to day survival and trying to suss out what the bigger picture is so we can see our goal."
"Easier said then done." Noir observed and Charm just snickered.
"Sometimes you just have to play your hand and see how the rest of the cards fall into place."
no subject
This was becoming a pretty heavy topic for a mere shopping excursion regardless.
no subject
"What do normal girls talk about when they go shopping?" She sighed. "It's been so long I think I've forgotten."
"If popular fiction is to be believed, girls talk about boys when they aren't around boys." Noir commented earning himself a conk on the head from Charm who just snickered wickedly.
"I can only speak from experience but when I'm with my girlfriends we judge people to make ourselves feel better." The lanky Digimon giggled.
"What girlfriends?" Noir croaked from the ground where he'd landed after being swatted "We're the only creatures you spend time with."
That earned him a sharp kick but this time he bit Charm's tentacle making her yelp and hop around trying to kick him off. Jinx simply rolled her eyes and ignored the concentrated chaos.

"Let's see...if my team was here. Ruby would probably be checking out any stall with weapons and comparing their benefits. Weiss would be haggling with someone about the prices and dividing her time with Ruby to complain about Ruby wasting her time when she has a perfectly good weapon with her. She may or may not start a fight with Ruby over something. Finally, Blake would probably be hanging out with a book and adding her two cents to the ensuing argument and suggest we not attract unwanted attention from bad digimon or something."
Yang smiled slightly, "And if something wasn't destroyed by the time we left I'd probably be surprised."
no subject
"Well let's see if my friends were here..." She looked around considering the options. "Mammoth would probably be stealing that entire cart of meat and cheese over there, just hefting it up onto his shoulder."
She let her finger glide through the air pointing gracefully "Gizmo would be loading up on those tools, See-more would probably be gathering up armfuls of those CDs even though we use MP3s in this world. Kid Wykkid would be collecting some of those little glass statues over there...and Billy would be stealing everything else." She shook her head with a smile.
"Of course it's alot easier to do all of that with D-Terminals."
no subject
Yang looks at the different areas that Jinx points to as if to imagine these people doing such things. She bites at her lip as another part of Jinx's statement sinks in. While she doesn't want to judge, Yang isn't exactly comfortable with the idea of people who steal things. true, her usual M.O. is fighting monsters that try to kill people. But Yang doesn't like people who steal what has been earned fairly by others. It's not exactly a strong sense of black and white justice...but it's close.
"Right...that would probably get you guys in trouble around here."
no subject
"Oh come on, like you've never done something selfish and reckless because it's naughty?" She challenged. "A little bit of trouble is good for the soul."

"If you're creative enough, you can reason your way out of anything. Even if you're wrong."
She'd told herself enough lies over the years to be sure of that.
"But to each their own. Everything you don't take is more for me."
no subject
She blinked, however, when what Jinx is saying sinks in. "Wait...you haven't..."
She hadn't even REALIZED Jinx had been stealing right under her nose. Honey looked up at Yang with equal surprise. What were they supposed to do now?
no subject
"Maybe I have and maybe I haven't. Did you see me doing anything? Or are you making an assumption based on me having no shame about my past?"
More like no shame about her career path period but that was beside the point.
no subject
no subject
"Is it a big concern? I mean I have spent most of my life studying to be a super villain so I'm not exactly a good person. But I'm not as bad as I could be."
no subject
The girl hadn't done anything to her. Yang wasn't about to hate on someone for something that she had no proof of and was in their past. It would be like doing the same to Blake for what she had done in her past. People changed.
Honey snorted in protest but Yang just ignored him.
no subject
Noir and Charm shrugged and clapped in approval.
no subject
Honey, however, wasn't going to just stand by and watch this. He finally has to say something. "Yang," he said, putting a paw down, "You can't just take some sunglasses."
"Oh come on Honey. I've been wanting some new shades for ages. It's not like we don't have money...they just won't take it."
"Yaaang."
Yang sighed. She knew her partner had a point.
no subject
"Alright then look at it like this. You're going to save the whole freakin' Digital World. They are gonna run that stand full of over priced sunglasses and you're gonna go risk your life for them. The least they can do is spare you the pair."
She leaned forward with a smirk.
"Call it a business expense. You won't be able to save anyone if you have the sun in your eyes. Plus the boost to your confidence is invaluable."
"And if that one pair of sunglasses bankrupts their business? They were terrible sales people in the first place."
no subject
Yang looked down at the glasses and tossed them back over her shoulder. The glasses landed on a pile of other sunglasses, probably the same pile Jinx had taken them from in the first place.
"They aren't that great. If someone is going to give me sunglasses for saving the world it should probably be a nicer pair." She winked at Jinx and Honey. "Thanks though, but I'll pass. You make some good points though Jinx. Here's hoping they have a better business some other time."
no subject
Still she couldn't help smile.
"At least you're reasonable about it. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around."
no subject
She then salutes and bobs her head, "Oh, I'm sure we will. Thanks for hanging out but we should probably be moving on anyway." Yang turned to leave and then turned back, "Oh...and careful of the Apemon running the stall down there. He's...a little aggressive."
And with that, she's heading off with a bounce in her step.
