Applejack, herself, had been getting used to HospiTown, as well as practicing walking around with her new Digimon partner. She'd been trying new foods, keeping watch for her friends, and just generally trying to get a feel for this world.

When she first came across Minervamon, Applejack thought she was just another human. It was Monodramon that first alerted her when he became defensive. So the former-pony moved over to her a bit cautiously.
