It is in a moment of peril you find out who you are.
Who: Tony Stark and Bruce Banner
What: While traveling to Hospitown, Tony and Bruce stop in San Francisco to explore and steal parts.
Where: San Francisco town
When: Backdated to around the 2-6th January sometime.
It had only been a few days since Bruce and Tony left primary island and had began island hopping towards Hospitown. Tony wasn't exactly enjoying all this trekking, while it wasn't exactly as unpleasant as his journey after his escape from the cave in afghanistan, and certainly was a hell of a lot less lonely, what with Bruce, Dorumon and Floramon all being there with him.
But now he had to deal with Dorumon and Floramon enjoying themselves and being just constant background noise, which he thought he would get used to, but doesn't. He doesn't get as snippy as he could, but he makes a lot more sour comments loud enough to be heard, but not directed at anything in particular for anyone to feel offended by. At least not that he notices.
Once they reach the island of San Francisco, Tony's mood does seem to lighten considerably. Tonight means that he doesn't have to sleep on the ground, that there could be actua beds to sleep in, and the familiarity of buildings that he hasn't seen in a few years, but as far as Tony's concerned it is in fact as close to SanFran as this place could get. He's even eagerly talking about what was in the place last time he was there, and has become very insistent that they go looking for the trolley network because he could hopefully scavenge parts.
"You know, I'm actually starting to get a bit of a zombie apocalypse vibe from all this. How about you?"
"It seems okay to me."
"Well, for you it would, I was however, talking to Banner."
He rolls his eyes at her but it's completely good natured.
