First, from the nothingness, there is light. She thinks it must be Sora's heart. Her thoughts are fledglings, only faintly there, and so she doesn't think about how it's strange that she's thinking at all. It feels like waking up, but not after a long dream. It feels like slowly opening your eyes, even though you haven't had enough sleep. That's when she realizes that there's something wrong. Not long after, the pain starts. Her thinking stops, then, because though she's initially confused, it quickly becomes too much for her to bear, let alone for her to spare thoughts.

There is the sound of a door opening, the mechanical kind, like at the Castle. Xion doesn't have time to collect herself before her knees quake and give way. She stumbles out of the chute and falls, but doesn't let out a cry. She's still in too much shock for that.

When you're brought back from non-existence and dumped into a room, it's not exactly a pleasant experience.
