Ryou Akiyama didn't often stay in Terminal Tokyo. He had a room to stay in, certainly, but with Cyberdramon the way he was the boy often left the city for far too long. He got away with it, at least, since he always came back with something for Koushirou, but he never stayed long. In part it was because the boy had grown used to being out in the wilderness of the Digital World then in a city. His time in Tokyo just a few months ago had made him feel even more off canter.
He supposed it came from being in the Digital World nearly three years.
However, even Ryou couldn't stay away when the earthquake shook all of Terminal Island. Cyberdramon had grunted and snarled, whispering something about an enemy and Ryou knew it was the end of it. Hopping on the back of the large Ultimate, the boy had made it back to Terminal Tokyo in record time. He'd thought something else had gone wrong and, well, maybe it had with the amount of people that were suddenly there. Almost instantly Ryou retreated within himself.
Placing a hand on his partner's arm, Ryou led him through the vast wave of people uneasily. Cyberdramon, too, was either uneasy or just too far excited as every now and then his chest would rumble with a growl. "...It seems the Digital World is calling more people," the boy commented lowly to his partner as they backed into one of the wall's of a building. Cyberdramon's answer was to growl before responding. "Are you jealous?" The words came out almost mocking.
Ryou quieted again. He was used to seeing other Chosen, but he'd never done well with working with them. Even when he met Takato and the others he still worked alone. It helped that Cyberdramon wasn't exactly people friendly, not with Milleniummon inside of him. He had to work alone, but in some cases-- did he like it? He wondered momentarily if Cyberdramon could read his mind as the Digimon started the low rumbling of a chuckle.
"Mmm," Ryou managed nonchalantly, stepping forward, "let's see what we can do to help out."
