He politely listens. He's not thinking all the while that he knew already what Kaldur'ahm was getting at, just that the observations of theirs (of them both) were so far as superficial as anyone's, if he had to guess. Kids dropped off in an unknown world, different world from their own, and someone knows their name. It's very painfully basic.
"To be honest, I don't think we'll be getting home any time soon." He says. It might be a deviation from their previous topic, but it's pressing all the same. "We'll definitely have time to be acclimated. We were brought here to be used." Okay, that's a rough sounding word choice. He's quick to correct himself. "--to be of service." Did Kaldur understand that much? They were proclaimed saviors before anything had happened. If they asked... they'd be given, right? Information, that is. They were heroes or servants, and this isn't how any culture treats its servants.
Yeah, no, he's just thinking this over too much too early in the game.
Tim half tuned out the next request. He smiles slightly. "You're right, I can't tell you my name." He's even kind of sorry about it. "And it's difficult to think of there being another Robin operating at the same time I am."
Another name, hmm?
"I guess..." Oh no this is hard. "Does Al work for you?" Oh, this is going to confuse Gabumon to no end. Which might be why Tim looks down, brow raised in question and concern at the distracted monster. Gabumon catches on that he's being watched, and returns the look. O-kay. Tim turns back to Kaldur.
