What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
The Digital World had been having a great deal of earthquakes the last six months. The first was the largest of them and had ended in the shifting of the planes. Since then earthquakes happened periodically, often sending new Chosen Children with it. At first it was Chosen that the Digital World knew and rejoiced, but now and then it would send new Chosen.
Today was different, however. The earthquake that rattled the Digital World felt almost as bad as the first, but there was a difference this time. Suddenly dozens of children were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling and so were their partners...
Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

STATUE OF LIBERTY | PROSE OR BRACKETS I WILL MATCH YOU
Wally's been wandering around this so-called "Digital World" for a while now when he happens across the Statue of Liberty. He remembers the message on his D-Terminal saying something about the Real World and the "Digital World" merging, but he was unaware Tokyo had a Statue of Liberty. He guesses it's like how Las Vegas has a Statue of Liberty. Why not.
Still, he can't help but stop in front of it and stare at it intensely, so intense he's almost shaking. Oh, yes, he can feel the greatest movie reference of all time coming on.
"Oh my God... I'm back. I'm home. All the time it was... we finally really did it."
He looks over to Elecmon, who blinks up at him quizzically and tilts his head, then turns back to the statue, falling dramatically to his knees.
"YOU MANIACS!" he screams, pounding the ground with his fist. "YOU BLEW IT UP! OH, DAMN YOU! GODDAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!"
[And just in case you don't get it: he's reenacting the last scene of Planet of the Apes! Because he's a giant nerd.]

A breath of fresh air and some quicker, more sly exploration is what he needs to do. That's how he came to the Statue of Liberty and-- wow, talk about disconcerting. Should the talk about the gates slipping between the Real world and Digital world prove true, that is. Otherwise, well-- Robin had to admire the accuracy in the rendering of the program file that must have created this thing.
He turns only when he hears a scream-- it sounds dangerously distressed and puts him on alert. It's a half second later when he pin points where it's coming from, and he's expecting a violent scene not a--
not a theatrical reenactment.
Not a. Uh.
That's not.... right. There's so much not right about what he's seeing right now.
He's silent approaching. It's a habit. He doesn't bother to hide a quizzical expression, almost mirroring Elecmon but for a totally different reason. "Wally?"
Because if you know someone's name, say it.

He visibly jumps a little, but he's almost more startled by the fact that Robin looks... different. Too much green. Like, wow, that's a lot of green. He's pretty sure Rob doesn't even like the color green. But who knows, there's a lot about the dude he doesn't know. Which is more than anyone else, but still. Rob's secrets have secrets and maybe this is an old costume or something. The hair is the main thing that's bugging him. Way too short.
He clears his throat and awkwardly pushes himself up to a standing position, dusting off his costume as he stands.
"Uh." Yeah, you don't sound like Jesse McCartney, Tim, who are you. "Who are you, exactly? Did you escape from a comic book convention or something? What's with... all the green?"

And Tim's not exactly sure what he was expecting-- obviously he wasn't the Flash yet, obviously he was too young. "I guess you wouldn't recognize me, huh?" He says, because what did he think he was going to gain from this, again? "You're too young." Which meant that Robin was. Well.
Hey, he does feel a little proud of making him jump, at least. Even if it was just a little. He doesn't like the jabs, but what can you do. It comes standard with the costume, and at least he has pants. Tim stands a little straighter, a little taller. He can be cool about this.
"I'm Robin."

He raises an eyebrow at Tim's introduction, shifts his weight, and crosses his arms. Mr. Drake, you convince him not. "Yeah, I can tell you're Robin. But you don't really expect me to believe you're the Robin, right? He's my best friend, dude, and you are not my best friend."
Because clearly there can only be one Robin.

Tim tries again, patient as ever. "Yes, I'm the Robin. As in Batman and." Kind of embarrassing how many times he's had to have this conversation. He wonders if Jason ever had to explain this. "I know I'm not the one you were expecting, because that's--"
Okay, no. Not saying Dick's name. Backtracking.
Unknown to him, Gabumon's ambling over. Looks like he was found before he wanted to be. Gabumon, of course, just raises a hand to wave.
"Look. I know your name. If I'm not really Robin, how else would you explain that?"

"I don't know, you could just be a stalker who likes to dress up like Robin. I'd be flattered if that weren't just a little creepy."
Elecmon checked out of this conversation a few minutes ago, so he perks up when he sees Gabumon in the distance and waves back enthusiastically.

that's not how his history went down at all. (Except it is.)
His life is hard. "Well, you can think what you want but I'm saying the truth." This wasn't going as planned, at all.
Gabumon all but butts his head against Tim's back when he finally is close enough. It seems like he thinks better of it last minute before that horn did any damage, and Tim finds himself skipping forward a step to avoid a disaster. Again. "Hello."
i haven't actually seen planet of the apes but i bet terra has
"Really?"
Terra stands behind him, hands on her hips and a smirk on her lips, with Gotsumon looking on in a mix of concern and worry.
"Planet of the Apes?" She laughs a moment later. "Making the best of this, I see."

Elecmon stares on confused, interjecting a moment later. "What's a planet of the apes?"
Wally sighs and glances down to his companion. "It's a movie. Do you even know what that is?"
Elecmon shakes his head, eliciting another sigh from Wally. "Jeez, what do you guys know?" It's clearly rhetorical, but Elecmon perks up proudly anyway, attempting to proclaim "Lots of things!" before Wally cuts him off with a glance and "Don't answer that."

"I bet they don't have the same kind of entertainment as we do," Terra points out. "This is a whole different kind of world. I'd be willing to bed some of the other Chosen here wouldn't know about it either."
Gotsumon seems busy trying to figure out what planet of the apes would be about. "...a world filled with Apemon...?" He murmurs under his breath.

Initiating full-body monkey hug, with less monkey and more hugs, which probably isn't a very good idea when he can't shapeshift to something smaller and less likely to knock him down but who cares? It's Wally and he was the first familiar face in forever since he got here.
Which was half an hour ago, but if you were stranded in a weird place with no powers, good signs are always welcomed.]

[Hawkmon is flying up right behind him, looking frazzled because Gar moved way faster than he anticipated. He doesn't say anything yet though, just watching them.]

Wally's pretty startled by the sudden enthusiastic hugging and almost loses his balance when Gar jumps him, but he manages to find his footing fairly quickly, even if that means flailing about for a bit.]

[He blinks down at the kid attached to him, who looks... oddly familiar, actually.]
Wait, didn't I just talk to you? I mean, I know I'm an exciting person to talk to, but how'd you get here so fast?
[Silly Wally, this is the other Beast Boy. Elecmon can tell because this one's furrier.]
Uh, Wally, I don't think that's the same one.
[Wally looks over Gar toward Elecmon.]
