thefolder | play, play, play! (april 2013-- game start!)

Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!

The Digital World had been having a great deal of earthquakes the last six months. The first was the largest of them and had ended in the shifting of the planes. Since then earthquakes happened periodically, often sending new Chosen Children with it. At first it was Chosen that the Digital World knew and rejoiced, but now and then it would send new Chosen.

Today was different, however. The earthquake that rattled the Digital World felt almost as bad as the first, but there was a difference this time. Suddenly dozens of children were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

"Don't worry, I've seen a lot of things outside what's 'normal'." She smiles wider. "A person with wings isn't weird. You know, they're actually kinda cool."

"You're like a Lucemon!" Gotsumon put in helpfully, running over.

A thin smile to Gotsumon. "Thanks, you're helping so much." His earnest smile tells her he's not used to sarcasm.

Fluttershy rubs her arm a little nervously, though manages a small smile. "I-I...I'm just worried they'll draw a...lot of attention..."

As someone who's not big on attention, she understands. "I saw a cybernetic dragon earlier. This kinda stuff seems the norm. I bet everyone'll just kinda...roll with it."

Mentally, because she still does this, she makes a joke. Rock-n-roll with it. Despite everything, she still loves rock puns.

She stiffens, and a slight tremor passes through her wings. "D...D-dragon...?"

A look of terror passes over her face.

Oh. Wrong thing to say. "A friendly dragon! Er, I mean... One of the others' partners! A..."

She looks at Gotsumon for help. "It was a Cyberdramon!"

"Yeah, that. Totally friendly."

It's possible Terra doesn't know about Cyberdramon's violent streaks, but let's just let that be.

"Don't worry," Lopmon piped up, placing a reassuring paw against Fluttershy's leg. "Other partner Digimon are usually pretty nice. There shouldn't be any problems."

Looking down at the rabbit-like Digimon, Fluttershy nodded a little. "A-all right..."

She rubs her arm, guilty. "Sorry... I didn't realize you're afraid of them." Great job trying to make her feel better.

She shakes her head a little, managing a small smile. "N-no, it's all right...Th-there was really no way y-you would have known..."

She forces on a smile again. "Let's start again-- My name's Amy. Who're you?"

"I-I'm...Fluttershy. It's...nice to meet you."

That's appropriate. "Nice to meet you too." Gotsumon tugs at her hand. "...And this is Gotsumon."

The rabbit-like Digimon steps up beside her. "I'm Lopmon," he announces.

After giving Lopmon a little smile, she asks, "Have you been able to see the city yet. It's...big. Overwhelming. Little guys -- Damemon, I think -- all jumping around excited...but it's real nice."

She shakes her head. "N-no...I haven't really had much of a chance to...go anywhere."

"We could show you around right now!" Gotsumon cries, but Terra places a hand on his head, which seems to be her standard way for getting him to calm down.

"Don't push her, Gotsumon."

Fluttershy seems to think about this for a moment, glancing at Lopmon before looking back at Terra. "A-actually, I'd...I-I'd really appreciate...being with someone to look around. I-if it's...all right with you, that is..."

This surprises Terra, but she smiles, pleased. "Well, sure. Just didn't wanna push you into anything. Gotsumon knows this place better than I do...and I bet Lopmon does too, but between the three of us, you'll be an expert in no time.

Fluttershy smiles as well, but before she can say something, Lopmon interrupts her.

"Just as long as we go slow...Fluttershy's still trying to get used to everything."

She holds up her hands, a surrendering gesture. "Hey, of course! Slow and steady."

Fluttershy smiles, a little embarrassed. "Th-thanks...I-I haven't quite...gotten the hang of walking yet..."

"You aren't used to walking?" That's right, someone doesn't know about Fluttershy's transformation.

"Y-yes...a-at least, not on two legs..."

"How many did you have before?"

"F...four..."

"She used to be a pony..." Lopmon replied.

"...Oh."

Well, she knows a shape-shifter, so it shouldn't be that shocking.

"Well, that changes things!" She frowns. "Why couldn't it just...let you stay a pony?"

A pile of rocks is her bonded-through-fate digital creature partner, she's been frozen as a statue before, and she's fought a giant goop monster before.

She's rolling with it.
