play, play, play! (april 2013-- game start!)
Characters: EVERYONE!
When: 4 March 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
The Digital World had been having a great deal of earthquakes the last six months. The first was the largest of them and had ended in the shifting of the planes. Since then earthquakes happened periodically, often sending new Chosen Children with it. At first it was Chosen that the Digital World knew and rejoiced, but now and then it would send new Chosen.
Today was different, however. The earthquake that rattled the Digital World felt almost as bad as the first, but there was a difference this time. Suddenly dozens of children were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling and so were their partners...
Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

For the most part, yes, though only through trial and error. There's a rather useful guide attached to our welcome message.
[Her voice is calm, even. And Walter may get the feeling he is being scrutinized carefully]
no subject
I'll look into that.
[He says it slightly disinterestedly - first he'll get through how she means "attached", how to access it, even clicking on things and links isn't exactly an idea with an equivalent in Albion.
Veemon, meanwhile, is stuck on "trial and error." He quirks a lizardy brow.]
D-Terminals are that weird to humans?
I, for one, am still muddled by the whole "digital"-ness concept that's so plainly essential here, so don't mind if I'm not master of otherworldly gizmos in a - hrmfh.
[He's cut off when pixels flicker in the center of his torso and he winces, feels a wave of light-headedness. Veemon asks him if he's all right, and he huffs that he hopes so.]
no subject
What was that?
no subject
That... I was in a battle. Before I got thrown in there of course. [Looks back in the direction that they'd come from.] I'm not exactly sure what that means, but it's in about the same place I was wounded.
[Which actually gives him room to round away from it to his earlier concern.] Look - you weren't in a, a place like that before you were brought in here, too, were you?
no subject
[At his question, her expression hardens slightly, but she shakes her head]
No. I wasn't hurt or wounded in any capacity before I was taken here, to the Digital World.
[She sweeps the question aside and strides forward, focusing her attention on the area where the data flickered earlier]
Are you still injured?
no subject
Don't feel a thing unless that happens. [He looks back down and directs a hand to where the glitch appeared.]
Good to know most of the others here're probably mostly all right, then. ...Feels like I'm the only one here who's not about your age, or even younger.
[Veemon smiles just a little wryly.]
no subject
[She lifts a hand to her chin and tilts her head down slightly, thoughtfully]
I wonder. . . this is the "Digital World," correct? I remember shooting through a tube of computer code before arriving here. If we were converted to data ourselves before arrival, then maybe the data around your former injury is still corrupt.
no subject
But how can we have been [Airquotes.] "converted into data"? Isn't data supposed to describe things?
no subject
Childlike indeed. . . [The statement is half-muttered to herself]
Unfortunately, that is a question I can't answer. For now the idea that we've been converted to data and the data surrounding your injuries is corrupt is merely a hypothesis.
This Izumi-kun, however, may be able to answer those questions with more specificity.
