[OPEN] regained an item from home

Who: Forte, Gospel, and Biyomon, and you.
What: Biyomon is not what you can call 'thrilled' over the newest addition to the team. Forte is not impressed with Biyomon because he never is. Gospel is not helping matters.
Where: A ways outside of HospiTown.
When: shortly after the event(s).

[ He despised this town, and for good measure the whole of this ridiculous world, but it was one of the three main reliable sources of food that would meet human nutrition needs on the entire continent. With the Trailmon temporarily out of commission due to those fools' actions and the end objective of his venture achieved, he'd immediately left the scene and headed back to take stock of the... unexpected change in his situation.

And of course, the sight of a Chosen and his partner walking in the direction of the walls of HospiTown was nothing strange. It was what creature was lopping along Forte that was abnormal; a black wolf-like creature with a mane of blocky spines and a maw of sharp, business-like teeth. Its claws clicked over the ground. It was large and powerfully built, about the size of a smaller pony, and its body was composed of a stiff, clunky material that glowed with a scattering of green squares.

The Gospel virus growled and snapped idly at the pink bird Digimon flying low overhead, causing Biyomon to swerve and hurriedly move over to the opposite side of Forte. Forte didn't stop, though he paused to scold the beast, speaking to it as if he was convinced that it would understand the words he directed at it.
]

Gospel, the pest is not food... at the moment.

[ He had restrained himself from punching Biyomon and his loud beak into the next server so far, he expected no less of the greatly-shrunken virus when he told it to do the same. Only a moron abused his sole claim to power in an foreign world. A low, almost glitchy noise rumbled from its throat in response, Gospel's head tipping to the side; groowwwl... ]

No.

[ His tone of voice booked no argument. ]

Oi. I'm not food at all, that's what you mean! Right? [ Biyomon interrupted loudly, flapping his wings to remain airborne. He wasn't sure what to make of the viral creature that had came out of the ball of light and gone straight to Forte, but currently, he wasn't too fond of it. It wasn't even a Digimon. It made his feathers crawl like they were filled with mites. The way his partner treated it wasn't much better; no insults, no disdain? That was new, coming from the former NetNavi. The wolf issued another snarling noise, ears twitching straight up. ]

For now, he is of use to me. [ That reply to the snarl was delivered curtly, Forte's red eyes impassive. He didn't turn to look at Biyomon. Gospel's tail flicked behind it, accepting that as an answer. They made a motley bunch, these three. ]

Oh, c'mon...

[ The bird Digimon sighed, feathers drooping. Sometimes it felt like for every one step forward he got when it came forging some kind of a relationship to his partner, it was also another extra long two steps backward. It was beyond frustrating at times. ]

[If Forte happens to wander near or towards the river a little ways outside of town, he'll hear a couple of voices approaching from the direction of Hospitown.]

...H'so easily the most important thing to make sure you have a steady source of when you're out in the wild is clean water. You can go a few days without food but humans can't last more than a day or two without water.

[Despite the somewhat serious subject matter, Martin's tone is light-hearted. He's got an encouraging and cheery smile on his face, a mood that seems to be mirrored in the Bearmon perched up on his shoulders.]

That's why Chris and I followed this river for most of the trip. A good source of water, and this river also leads right back to Hospitown. Having a natural compass or landmark that you know points you back towards civilization, or even just your base or camp is important too.

[Did he say "Chris and I"? ...Who is he talking to then?]
