Who: Kiyotaka Ishimaru (
justicealwayswins ) and you?
What: To Oz We Go!
Where: The Northern shore of Cavern Lake
When: Mid-day, 20 May
[If a Digimon falls into a lake from a great height, and nobody else is around to hear, does it make a sound? The answer to that may be debatable in some circles, but there is no denying the uproar when said Digimon's partner crashes into the water a quick moment later, shirtless and screaming, having been swept up in the middle of changing.]
What just happened? What did you do?!
Nothing!
[When Ishimaru agreed to take a break from studying and train with Ryudamon, he didn't say anything about swimming... While he may be learning new things about the mechanics of this world every day and teleportation doesn't seem as far-fetched as it used to, it's clear from the way Ryudamon flounders around to stay afloat that dropping into the middle of a lake wasn't either of their idea.]
Well, we must get to land!
I can't swim...
Very well, I will teach you later! Please, hold on to me- and my clothing!
[Suddenly, Ishimaru lifts a hand out of the water, presenting his slacks and boots to Ryudamon, who takes them with a resigned sigh that causes him to choke on a mouthful of water.]
Ffffft! Why do you need-
[As soon as Ryudamon's claws are on him, Ishimaru sets off at the fastest crawl he can manage, heedless of anything else until they reach the shore. As Ryudamon clambers onto land, shivering and shaking water from himself, Ishimaru catches his breath in the shallows until he can manage to shout off into the forest.]
Hello! Is anybody here?! Good afternoon, we're lost!
Shh! Are you trying to get us attacked?
[He frowns and takes his sodden clothing back, going to hang it up on the closest tree as Ryudamon speaks.]
Not everyone here's going to help you! I don't know how to get back to town, but... maybe we should wait. You know, quietly.
Why? Do people pass by often?
Well, probably not...
[A contemplative look passes over Ishimaru's face, and he starts to clamber up the tree before he yells into the woods, again.]
Would somebody help us? Hey- Please, excuse my state of undress! It was beyond my control! Hello? We are located next to the lake!
[If not found immediately, he'll be here for a while, alternately shouting or debating at a more moderate volume with his Digimon.]

How come you were still wearing it if you're not enrolled in school? [She knows she showed up in hers, but she ditched it as soon as she could.]
no subject
I haven't found a suitable replacement. Since I arrived here, my priorities have been studying and training with Ryudamon. Furthermore, there is no standard of appearance in this world... to be frank, I don't understand how to decide on clothing in this chaos!
no subject
Uhh, yeah, dude. Because you just...pick it out. [She pulls at her gray and black t-shirt and jean-shorts.] No standard, just what you like.
no subject
[For a moment, his resolute scan of the woods wavers to glance at her. He's clearly shocked by this revelation.]
It's so simple! Is there really nothing else to it?
no subject
She nods slowly, letting out a nervous laugh.] Preeeetty much. I guess there's what looks good together, but that's all...up to you, anyway.
no subject
[His brow furrows, he glares off into the trees.]
How embarrassing, I should have been prepared- I always expected that I would have more time... Tell me, where can I study fashion?
no subject
You don't study it, you... well, I guess maybe some do? Fashion schools, that, but they don't have any of them here.
no subject
Well- how can I learn? What were you going to say?!
no subject
[Gotsumon sounds distressed because it looks like Ishimaru might cry.] O-okay!! You just kinda know it, or, or find someone else who knows, I'm sure there're fashion people here, somewhere, it, comes naturally!
[A fashion person, she is not.]
no subject
[Yes, there are some tears with that statement, but he barely even seems to notice. Ryudamon just silently shakes his head as he trudges behind, having already gotten enough time enough to see how Ishimaru can be passionate over just about anything.]
...I simply need to find someone who will teach me. Thank you, Terra!
no subject
[Just ahead, it appears oddly enough that the world's gone dark. The forest hasn't become any thicker, but instead it's gone immeasurably black, though if they peer enough, they'll likely see the faint outline of train tracks, leading north and south.]
That's...weird.
no subject
[No reason to stop, that's for certain. Without waiting for an answer, he charges forward to examine it while Ryudamon, looking more skeptical, protectively sticks close to his side.]
Hey-! There are the tracks!
no subject
[She also approaches a bit more cautiously; no flashlight here, no way to see in the dark.]
no subject
[A few paces into the darkness, he stops and turns back.]
Well, we've made an interesting discovery!
no subject
Uh, yeah... A creepy one. Doesn't help us get back if we can't see where we're walking, though.
no subject
That isn't true! If we follow the boundary, we may be able to find where the tracks lead!
no subject
no subject
[He marches back out, sets off in the direction she's looking without stopping.]
It would be troublesome if we're still lost at nightfall!
no subject
Y-yeah, but-- you didn't delay us-- okay, fine.
[As they walk, they'll eventually reach the end of the dark area, which curves to the West, and the tracks come into view. If they follow them, they'll come to a terminal. The Beach Terminal.]
no subject
That was simple! Thank you for your assistance, Terra! I'm grateful! I would not have known to search for tracks without you!
no subject
[A Trailmon's at the station, of course. Terra can't help but wonder about that dark place, but she's just grateful to be getting back.]
no subject
[He'll just go on ahead and- well, introduce the whole lot of them to the Trailmon first, and then see to asking for transport.]
no subject
Terra's just tired enough to be amused.]
no subject
How convenient! It would be wonderful if all public transport could talk, isn't that right?
no subject
[The Trailmon lets out an affronted gasp.]
N-not you! I mean, like-- uhhh, those darn, jeeps! Cars, so rude. [What's she even saying???]
