What: OH GOD I WARPED INTO A TREX HELP!!

When: 5/22, in the morning

Where: The mountains near Mt. Fuji

[Some days are good days. Some days are bad days. Some days start out pretty good, like when you're walking with your buddy Guilmon to go buy another bag of burgers. Then, suddenly there's a data stream and you're somewhere else.

In Ed's case today, this 'somewhere else' involves a Tyrannomon. Or more specifically, he and Guilmon land straight on its nose before tumbling to the ground. All three of them were left quite confused by this, but as Ed stands up and brushes himself off the Tyrannomon seems to remember the natural order of the food chain.

It roars. Ed screams like a little girl and runs out the door to its cave with Guilmon in tow. Dinosaurs are one thing when you have your magic, but at a time like this there was no way he was standing up to that thing.

That brings us to now, as Ed and Guilmon run from an angry Tyrannomon through the rocky terrain, having to duck around corners with barely enough time to avoid the fireballs being launched.]

This isn't good, geko...

I know that... jut gimme a second to think of something! [He thinks for a second and lands on an idea: Yell really loud.]

CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?! HELP!

[Kaldur had been enjoying a similar morning. Gizamon and he had been heading for the river for their usual morning swim. The datastream had come without a moments warning and placed Gizamon and himself near the edge of a very precarious cliff. Gizamon had pulled Kaldur back and they had managed to avoid disturbing any Digimon.

Kaldur was still baffled by what was going on, but he could analyze it later when he was back in Tokyo. He didn't have much time to think on it anyway since a loud voice came from around the mountain pass.]

What was that?

Someone in trouble.

[There was no hesitation. Kaldur moved forward and Gizamon was right on his heels because she certainly wasn't going to let Kaldur throw himself into danger (again) without her.

And that's when they nearly ran into Ed and Guilmon running from Tyrannomon. Kaldur's eyes widened.

Ed?

Uh oh.

[OH! It was Kaldur--great! There were a very long list of people Ed trusted in this weird new place, but Kaldur was trustworthy AND seemed really strong. This was perfect! Now to just explain the situation in a calm rational manner and...]

[...that didn't come out right. Blind panic would do that to a person.]

What Ed means is 'Hi, are you strong? We could be in trouble, geko.'

[For its part, Tyrannomon was tamping towards them and roaring, another fireball forming in its mouth before it fired at them.]

[Luckily for Ed. Kaldur had been working with Wally for a few years now so he was somewhat used to speed talking. Although, honestly, he probably only got the first and last parts.

But let's be honest, "weird" and "help" were the two most important parts.

Kaldur reached a hand out to put on Ed's shoulder and was about to tell him to calm down. However, the ground shook and he looked up to see the Tyrannomon looming over them. Kaldur's eyes widened further and he gripped Ed tightly and pulled him backwards and away from the danger.]

MOVE!

[There was no room to dodge but just as he was pulling Ed back and away, Gizamon was rushing forward. There was a glow from Kaldur's digivice and a similar light shone around Gizamon as well. A second later Seadramon was throwing herself at Tyrannomon and attempting to wrap herself around the dinosaur to give the boys a chance to find cover.]

Hold it big boy. You're not going anywhere.

WEEH?!

[Tyrannomon roared and railed against the force of the sea serpent holding it back, clawing at Seadramon to the best of its ability as it tries to break loose. It roared an angry response and fired another fireball into the air.

Ed, for his part, was shaken but safe. Guilmon jumped between the fireball and the others, taking it head-on and rolling to a stop on the ground.]

G-GUILMON! [Ed reached a hand out towards his friend, and the digimon stood up, grimacing.]

I'll help too! [For what it's worth, Guilmon launches a Rookie-sized fireball at the Tyrannomon's face.]

[Kaldur winced. He wasn't a big fan of fire and it was flying around a lot more than he was comfortable with. However, he had more pressing concerns. Kaldur attempted to tug Ed back behind the rocks that the mountain had plenty of.]

Ed! It is too dangerous.

[He noticed Guilmon wasn't joining them behind the rocks though and frowned, moving forward a bit.] Guilmon! That Digimon is out of your fight class.

[Kaldur had a feeling it would be futile. Digimon fought by nature, especially when their partners were in danger. Seadramon hissed as Tyrannomon fought against her grip. It was one thing to be in her element and have her enemy wrapped in her scales, it was another to be on land. She just couldn't maintain the hold. She realized she needed to stun him and electricity coursed up and down her body.]

Electric Shock!

[The electricity concentrated in her mouth and she drove her fangs into the Tyrannomon in the hopes of stunning him.]

[This is a case of a good thing and a bad thing happening at once. On one hand Mr. H and Labramon where out of Jail. On the other hand they where plopped near the battle. Mr. H gauged the situation a bit before shrugging his shoulders.]

Ah...Seems like they have everything under, shall we go home?

[That wasn't enough for Labramon though. She went charging in, and started barking at the Tyrannomon.]

R-retri Bark!

[The resolve of his partner made the Coffee Man, quirk an eyebrow, as it sends a supersonic bark at the Dino. As ineffective as it may be.]

Waghfgh!! [This is the closest approximation to real words that Ed could make as he was tugged back behind cover.] O-okay... I'll be really careful..! [He gripped his digivice tightly, peeking out at the digimon's battle.]

Don't worry! I'm stronger than I look, geko! [Guilmon supported the attack with another fireball.]

[The Tyrannomon roared in pain and shock as it took the attacks of three digimon at once. Still, it couldn't back down so easily from an attack against its home. It owned these mountains, and to back down now would be to admit it was no longer king. With a thunderous battle cry it flung itself into the rocky cliff outcropping, aiming to ram Seadramon-first into the rocky cliffs throughout the area.]

[Sure enough, Guilmon was now being joined by a second digimon in the fight. Kaldur, at first, wondered where the Labramon had come from but then noticed the lanky older gentleman and supposed they had been picked up by the same random energy beams.

Kaldur frowned. This was quickly spiraling out of control and the dinosaur seemed no closer to being brought down than he was moments ago.

Meanwhile, his partner was suffering for it. Seadramon bellowed in pain as her back was slammed into the rocky outcropping. Rocks crashed down from the mountain and Kaldur realized that a bad situation was getting worse.]

We need to fall back. This area is growing unstable.

[His eyes were on Seadramon. What could he do for her to help? Tyrannomon slammed into the serpent digimon again and Seadramon opened her jaws wide.]

Ice Blast!

[A cold ray shot from her mouth and struck the dinosaur in the face. Tyrannomon stumbled backwards and finally released the serpent digimon, clawing at the ice now frozen around his jaw.]
