Who: Yoshiya "Joshua" Kiryu and Viximon.
What: To Oz we Go! And a massive talk between digimon and destined.
When: backdated - May 23rd, early hours of the morning.
Where: Shinjuku Gyoen.

[Precisely one day after Viximon was swallowed by the random data stream which seemed to materialize in his very living room, Joshua is still looking for the foxblob. By now, he's covered most of Terminal Tokyo and his search has been fruitless. If anything, the only thing which hasn't been a hinderance is the rarity of her species - something Joshua was unaware of until this day.

It strikes him, during his search, what a mess Terminal city really is. There's signs that point toward Shibuya - among other places- almost everywhere, but none actually lead to the ward. Aside from one. And as a last resort, he follows it. A creature bound to Shibuya normally, perhaps he'd been paralyzed by his arrival in the digital world, and the mockery of freedom which came with it - as bizarre as the swell and deflation of his own chest - completely unnatural to him now. Perhaps that was why he'd never attempted to find Shibuya in this mess. Perhaps it was more the fact he'd always been advised to not wander about Shibuya in parallels he did not become Composer within.

The expression upon his face is delicate as he comes to a large body of water - hands in pockets as usual, but his gaze is caught, and held, by the reflection of his dramatically younger appearance. And he hears something. He looks up, catching sight of a rather familiar looking sofa. It's the one. So he saunters toward it, flopping down on it nonchalantly with a flick of his ashen hair.
]

You can come out now.

[Viximon soon surfaces from the bottom of the sofa, jumping up on it, though taking the other side of it quite nervously.]

I don't understand why you're not furious at me.

[He merely allows himself a small laugh, though he's unsure whether or not he wants to roll his eyes at that.]

You want to change- to be more than what you are. I can understand that. What you are now is completely powerless when your world's falling down on your head. You need me to help you with that. I get it.

But you said that it's not like any of this will help your world. So you don't care about any of it.

Believe me, It won't.

You said it'll end. Why? Because you're gone? How?

[There's a small pause.]

What if I were to tell you that some humans could evolve too? What would you think?

I'd think you were crazy.

Then you're more human than you think. Getting resentful over me speaking to other digimon and venting it out all over a communications system without speaking to me about your concerns first is a pretty human trait too.

At least one of us behaves like a human. You're not like the others that came here at all. And that other boy - the one from the first day - he's terrified of you.

Mhmm.

...I believe you. About evolution. Your evolution. Even though you look human, you're not. You don't-

-It's not like what you believe matters, Viximon.

...

What matters is the fact you want to change. Unlike most of this world; I don't believe in destiny and it's not like I'm going to be here for the long-term. You need to accept that.

You're wrong! You talk as if you know everything and you don't! Evolved or not, you're wrong!

[There's a small pause, and Joshua merely rises from the sofa, flicking some of his hair away quite irritatedly. He remains silent though, and starts walking away. Viximon jumps off the sofa, and attempts to give chase.]

Where are you going?!

[And he turns around.]

Neither of us are in a position to show what we know is right, and repeating a belief until I'm blue in the face to someone that won't do anything but spout theirs in retaliation isn't my thing.

...Anyway, for the time I'm here, we can either work on your little problem, with a condition added on, or we can part ways and you can hang around the terminal until another guy shows up. It's really your call.

I want to be with you. And I want to become strong.

...But a condition? I don't understand.

Please. After the treasure hunt, and this inconvenience? You're turning into a liability because you don't trust me. So, we're going to work on that trust. I'll only work with you and help you if you'll obey all my direction from now. You're not exactly inspiring much confidence with disobeying quite so much.

...But! But I couldn't destroy that-

-Viximon? It's non-negotiable.

Fine. I'll listen to you.

[The boy smiles.]

Very good. Let's get going. I've a few ideas for the journey back.

Okay...
