What: Hiccup's working on filling out entries for what he's calling "The Digimon Manual"

[Hiccup and Gomamon are spending the day in the park, with today being pleasantly warm and a bit breezy- something quite unusual, compared to Berk's standards. With his legs crossed in front of him Hiccup can be seen sitting with his back to a tree in the grass, idly drawing in a sketchbook that seems to have been seeing a lot of use lately. Gomamon keeps climbing into Hiccup's lap at the most inopportune times, until finally he ended up giving in and using his partner's back as a table. Whatever works, right?]

The Digimon Manual

OOC: As a little token of my appreciation to all of you being generally amazing- as well as an excuse to build CR- I Hiccup is going to be making entries into his notebook of drawings of the various partners of the Chosen here in Terminal Tokyo! All you have to do is walk up to Hiccup and strike up a conversation to get started!

There are some things Hiccup will ask for:

-What species is your partner?
-Do they have any nicknames?
-Do you have a crest yet? (He won't outright ask this one, but include in an OOC message to me if you do have a crest and want it included. To my knowledge nobody HAS been crested yet, however, so for now I'm not going to worry about this.)

And of course a general description of the Digimon itself would suffice, including any unique quirks and accessories the Digimon may have! (Links are helpful, but I can Google the Digimon just as easily) Also, a short description of the Digimon can be added as well. Hiccup cannot write in English, but for the sake of easy identification I'm including the English terms in the entries.

Hiccup will do his best to get as many entries done as he can, but of course everyone starts getting sloppy if they draw for too long. (I apologize if I'm slow, I'll be doing these at my leisure! I will try to get them all done though, if I get any)

On the other hand, Hiccup doesn't mind chatting while working, so feel free to get to know him and Gomamon in the meantime! That's half of what this log is for in the first place!

I come from an island of Vikings- of which I am one- and parents give their children horrible names to scare off the gnomes and trolls, yadda yadda and so on and so forth.

Huh...and Hiccups are scary?

...Apparently? I think it's the awfulness of the name that's supposed to keep them at bay. ....Or something.

Jinx. It was more of a curse word then it was a name but it stuck. And I've grown rather fond of it.

Same case with mine, to be honest.

[Gomamon makes a noise of slight amusement before shifting into a more comfortable position. Apparently he still thinks the name Hiccup is pretty silly.]

So what do you do around here other then draw?

I uuh.....I work at the Ice Cream Shop.

[Impressive, he knows.]

I was going to try for helping out with rebuilding the city but uuh....some things came up.

I've seen the place. Do you get free scoops?

[Better then she can say about her jobless self. She really ought to get to work on making some money]

What sort of stuff?

The doll's eyes lit up with her inherent curiosity, before narrowing in exasperation at her partner.

Aw yeah, all you can eat! It's a pretty sweet deal.

[Hiccup's still not entirely sure if the ice cream is free for them, but that won't stop Gomamon from eating it.]

...Well uuhh...I haven't seen you around so I guess you weren't here when those Beemon attacked the city, were you?

Sweet~ How much can you eat in any one sitting?

Yeah no, I'm still newish...how'd the attack go? Don't tell me that's how you became handicapable?

[Gestures to his leg]

S'much I want, haha!

[Hiccup shakes his head quickly.]

Oh no no this...this happened before I ever came here. No uh....I think some people got hurt, but it was nothing serious. Though a whole part of the town was destroyed, so that's why there are teams working to rebuild it.

So...the tamers vs. a digimon attack and they got stomped? That bodes well.

Well I wouldn't say stomped...but it was pretty bad as far as damage goes sounds like. I don't know, I haven't been over to that part of the city a whole lot to check it out myself.

Just a warm up then.

Well...we may not have our powers, but at least more then a few of us seem smart enough to make things work.

As for me, I'm gonna stick with looking out for what's most important.

[Hiccup raises a brow, but decides not to comment on that. Gomamon would have, but he's dead asleep by now.]

Well....sounds like a plan, I guess. Meanwhile, let's just hope we can go a few weeks without having anymore giant bee attacks on the town.
