it seems I've been put under the spell of real magic; (OPEN)
WHO:
Rin Tousaka, any possible residents of dorm #F1-008 and people who may visit them!
WHAT: Excuses glitch!
WHEN: June 4th ~ June 6th (specify date in subject if backdating)
WHERE: Newbie housing, specifically #F1-008, but possibly outside in the hallways too
FORMAT: Quick to start, will adjust to tagging style
WARNINGS: None
[ Lies and truth mingled within the mind of Rin Tousaka. Usually she's great at keeping the stories straight, but something has happened to cause her mind to malfunction. She can think in terms like that now that she's caught up in the web of another world of digital avatars, but her terminology is the least of her concerns.
She's just got done having a honest conversation with someone or something; whether it's one of her roommates or her Digimon partner, the reality of the situation has struck her hard. Being upfront usually is something she does, but rare is it that she speaks about herself.
It frustrates her in all honesty. May as well think honest to go hand-in-hand with her big mouth that's incapable of telling an untruth. This situation does confirm one thing for her: this world is capable of affecting her personality with these glitches. That's the most pressing issue to keep in mind as she paces back and forth in the common area of her dorm. If she can avoid her roommates (which she's admittedly great at so far), then she should be safe. Her D-Terminal has already been taken care of by her partner as Rin displays a rare trust in her. If Lunamon can keep it away from her until this passes, then she's proven herself a worthy ally.
If she fails and Rin ends up spilling more of herself than necessary... Well, she hates to think of what she may do to retaliate in return.
When she notices someone in her general proximity, she stops in place, petrified by the realization that they too might inquire about personal information. ]
Well, what is it that you want?

Something seems a little... off. Is everything okay?
oops I shouldn't post a log when I'll be out all day
It just had to be the dumb one. At least Rin's not going to outright call her dumb (unless Hakuno asks so really hope she refrains from it), but naturally it doesn't bother her. Honestly, Rin needs someone like Hakuno around to continue to pat that ego of her's. ]
No, haven't you noticed that there's something wrong here?

[ She would think of it as weird and nothing more. Pinching the bridge of her nose, Rin thinks on how she can word it to her only friend in this place. ]
You do understand these are things they probably don't want to tell people, right? That's the impression I've received from a couple of conversations so far. People are nothing without their secrets, you know.

[...]
How? Wouldn't it be really difficult for someone to control this many people without being caught?
no subject
[ In other words, she thinks it might be a distraction. Wording that to where Hakuno could understand it though might take more effort than she's willing to put forth alone on a theory, so for now she ditches the topic. ]
Do you want me to duct tape your mouth? It'd be for your own good.
no subject
[Look she likes Rin and knows that her ideas are usually Good Ideas, but sometimes she's able to recognize when she's the butt of some joke...!]
no subject
[ Rin, it isn't fair to shove your kinks onto your friend here. ] Ignoring the D-Terminal in the meantime will suit me just fine. I've already sent Lunamon off with my own just to keep it away.
[ Of course, Rin is nosy and would rather stalk everyone's confessions if she could even at the risk of spilling her own. Typical. ]

... Why does taping my wrists have to do with anything? I think it'd still be possible to manage to get the d-terminal on if I can still move my hands, so that's kind of pointless.
no subject
[ Wait, does she even have a heart? There's a bit of guilt for thinking that thought initially, but it fades off with another shrug of the shoulders. ]
I don't need to hear it from your Digimon if I go through all that trouble anyway.

[... Hold on. Hakuno may be dimmer than a dead lightbulb sometimes, but she can at least kind of catch on to things sometimes. And this is one of those times.]
... Uh. Rin. You just said something pretty weird...
no subject
[ A boast short lived only by: ] What I said in the Moon Cell doesn't count because that was a weird situation altogether.
[ ... ]
And that time when we first met also wasn't weird because I said so.
[ ... ]
And that other time when I was alone with your Servant, that wasn't weird at all.

What does what you did with Saber have anything to do with this? All you did was help her get back in fighting shape, right? [Pause.] I'd still really like to know what you did to help her, by the way.
[It's hard to tell if that was a slip thanks to... whatever it is that's going on right now or what, but she certainly doesn't seem surprised at her own words.]
But that wasn't really the weird part I was talking about, exactly. What does "sexiness" have to do with taping my hands together?
[Poor, oblivious Hakuno.]
no subject
[ Pointing an accusatory finger towards her. ] See, now you're the one saying weird stuff! Saber wasn't either of our Servants, so what gives?
[ In fact, Saber was the Servant of that douchenozzle she doesn't like. You know, the one she's trying to SAVE THE WORLD against? ]
Hakuno, did you bump your head? Maybe they deleted a fraction of your brain when they transferred you over here or something.
no subject
[There's an unusual edge to her voice as she says that. It's not... harsh, just firm. Her lack of memory was once a very sensitive subject, after all, so the suggestion that her precious memories of Saber were fake or tampered with...]
But I don't understand what you're talking about. Who else would be my Servant if Saber wasn't?
no subject
[ Even Rin knows when she's treading on dangerous ground. Besides, if something really did happen to Hakuno, she was going to be the one to fix it. ]
Maybe it's my own mind that's been tampered with. Whatever, I'll get to the bottom of it so don't you worry. That's my job as your partner.

You pulled me out of the fire on more than one occasion back in the Moon Cell. I need to start doing the same. So... if there's anything I can do to help you figure out this strange mix-up, just let me know, okay?
no subject
[ Sharply said. No matter what, Rin's a person who handles her own conflict on her own. Her gaze softens though once she realizes just what it is Hakuno has said before she focuses on something (anything) else in the room. ]
But thanks for that. The offer, you know.
no subject
You don't have to thank me, really. That's what friends are for, right?
