Pick a card, any card.
Who: Jinx and anyone who's curious
What: Tarot readings, see your future, or have a drink with a girl trying to find herself.
Where: Roaming Park
When: Monday, all day.

The day is just starting in Roaming Park and a curious new structure sitting peacefully under a tree.
Lounging in a lawn chair and thumbing through a mystery novel a Tsukaimon and at his side was a simple sign with elegantly painted words.
" Lost? Need Guidance? Seeking answers? Inquire within."
How curious are you?

"What do we have here? Looks tacky if you ask me. You really want to waste your time with this?"
Saori scowled at her partner. "Divination, under the right person, can be a very powerful tool. It's worth a try." Without hesitation, she entered the tent. "Pardon my intrusion," she said softly.

And behind said table smirked a young woman with pale skin, and sharp pink eyes slit down the pupil like a cats. The eyes matched her shocking pink hair and in the dim light of the tent her teeth, hair and eyes seemed to almost glow.
"Not at all, please come in and make yourself comfortable. Would you care for a drink? Or something more nourishing?" A pause for effect before she added, "Such as answers?"
no subject
"Yes, I am looking for answers. It's about something I don't normally share about but I've been wondering if it's something I should bring up."
no subject
"My name is Jinx. And you are Saori Nakagawa." She stated plainly. "Please, ask your questions and release whatever stress and anxiety that might come with them."
It wasn't her usual manner of speaking, but Jinx found speaking in such a way aided to he experience.

"Yes, I am looking for answers. It's about something I don't normally share about but I've been wondering if it's something I should bring up. Since we're all here in this mess, there should be some level of trust, after all."

Hiccup was just passing through near the trees when Gomamon spotted the tent in the distance, suddenly grabbing the sides of Hiccup's head to turn his attention to it.
"Hey look! You seen that here before?"
"...I don't think so? ...And ow, ok ow your claws are...digging into my face-"
"Hey, ain't that Jinx's partner? Go on over, I wanna see what this is all about!!"
With a heavy sigh, Hiccup heads over to get Gomamon to let go of his head, though he'd be lying if he said he wasn't mildly curious himself.
no subject
"The Sassy dame and her tamer return. How do you do?" He gives them a polite nod.
no subject
"...Dame?.."
He goes to argue further, but Hiccup interrupts him. Last thing they need is Gomamon to try and start something.
"We're good, thanks. ...Uuh...so what's all this here about?"
no subject
no subject
"Let's go check it out Hic! Oh pleeease, please can we?"
"Yees yes, if you stop digging your claws into me.."
And with that they make their way into the tent. Hiccup can't help but be curious about this technique of hers himself.

"No more hiding in your room, Waver." Palmon had taken her flustered partner by the hand, dragging him through the park. Because dammit, he was gonna enjoy himself if it killed them both. "I know you're disappointed about not being able to read anything, but you've gotta do something around here."
"Fine, but you don't need to pull me--hey, is that tent supposed to be there?"
The two of them stopped, both looking to the other as Palmon shrugged a noncommittal response. Waver was the first to approach curiously, the plant Digimon trailing a step or two behind.

The light inside the tent was dim but the woman behind the table had a flash of light gleaming off her neon pink eyes and bright white teeth.
"Welcome, curiosity has brought you here. How much further will it take you I wonder?"
no subject
"Y...you're a fortune teller?" Waver asked, stumbling from Palmon's insistent pushing.

The Prince blinks as he waits for his eyes to adjust to the change in light levels.
"Hello?" he calls, that curiousity audible in his voice.

The inside of the tent was dimly lit, with the light from the doorway filtering in gently between the curtains. In the center of the tent was a low table surrounded by dark colored pillows and a crimson tablecloth.
And behind said table smirked a young woman with pale skin, and sharp pink eyes slit down the pupil like a cats. The eyes matched her shocking pink hair and in the dim light of the tent her teeth, hair and eyes seemed to almost glow.

"Good day!" he chirps as he proceeds further into the space. "What is this place?"
no subject
"This, is a place of self discovery. A place where we seek out the answers of the universe and the truth we hold within." She explained.
"Those with an open mind and some bits to spare, may take advantage of this opportunity and perhaps learn things, see things in a new way."

And this? This was a hokey fortune teller if ever Ed had seen one. He stepped inside with nary a second thought, peeking in and waving. "Hey! Are you doing readings in here? I love this stuff!"
no subject
"Got it in one. The doll has some real skill with the cards. I'm not a believer myself but I'm also open to the possibility. I mean...look at the world we live in."
no subject
Not that the future itself was immutable or anything, but divination was nonetheless a great way to at least figure out what you'd probably see coming that day.

Jinx appeared behind Ed so silently it was like she had been hiding in his shadow. The only sign she had been gone was a smoothie in her hand. She gracefully slunk around the table and took her seat setting the drink out of sight underneath it.
"I apologize, I hope you weren't waiting long." her eyes gleamed in the low light and she smirked coyly like she knew something he didn't already.

"Conrad, you're so lame! You need to learn to live a little!"
"I live plenty, thank you."
Veemon's the one that pops excitably through the curtains first. He looks around wide-eyed and and curious. Conrad lumbers in after him--after fighting the stupid curtains for a brief second--and sighs heavily. This was stupid. He wants to turn right around and leave but that'd be rude so he stays put for now.
