The day is just starting in Roaming Park and a curious new structure sitting peacefully under a tree.

Lounging in a lawn chair and thumbing through a mystery novel a Tsukaimon and at his side was a simple sign with elegantly painted words.

" Lost? Need Guidance? Seeking answers? Inquire within."

Ed immediately planted himself down on the other end of the table. "Reading me, then! I'm really interested in learning how to do a proper one!"

Not that the future itself was immutable or anything, but divination was nonetheless a great way to at least figure out what you'd probably see coming that day.

"Figures, I step out for but a moment and a customer arrives."

Jinx appeared behind Ed so silently it was like she had been hiding in his shadow. The only sign she had been gone was a smoothie in her hand. She gracefully slunk around the table and took her seat setting the drink out of sight underneath it.

"I apologize, I hope you weren't waiting long." her eyes gleamed in the low light and she smirked coyly like she knew something he didn't already.

"Nah! I just got here!" As a regular mahotaku, Ed had read all about all kinds of various fortune telling methods in his home universe, but he had to admit he didn't have a clue what kind of method the one here would use.

"I'm really looking forward to this! I've never seen someone from a whole different universe divine the future before, and I'm really interested in seeing how it's done! If it's cold reading, that's pretty cool too even if it's not actually magic."

There was a flash of mischief in her eyes, "Who's to say there isn't something mystical behind this moment? While my own powers have been left in the world I was plucked from these cards have come from this world. And seeing as today is my first day, we'll have to see how accurate they are."

As she said "these cards" she displayed them with flourish. They seemed to bloom from her empty hand and fan out displaying many colorful images.

"Some call it fate, others destiny. Sometimes it is set in stone and other times will can make the stone crumble. But you have been brought to this world for a reason. And perhaps you have found my tent for a reason as well."

She closed the fan and began to shuffle. "Even if it's only for entertainment."

Ed clapped appreciatively as she shuffled. So it was Tarot, then? Well, it'd been a while since he'd seen a good tarot reading, and for all he knew the decks here were completely different than the ones back home.

"Entertainment, destiny, whatever it is I'm excited! Proper tarot readings are always interesting."

She shuffled with skill worthy of a Las Vegas dealer before placing the deck in front of her. "Now, focus your thoughts on a wish. A desire. What you want most out of this reading. When you have it clear in mind, cut the cards."

Well, when it came down to it, there was only one thing that Ed ever wished for. Thinking about the happiness of his friends, he cut the deck.
