MACH A GO! GO! GO!
Who: Everyone!
What: Master Mario Kart Racing Logs!
When: 10-17 June
Where: Everywhere and anywhere.
As the clock struck Midnight, an earthquake happened. And car keys began to drop out the sky! As strange as that may seem, stranger still were the karts and bikes littering the city. The roads themselves were repaved and revamped to be more like a race track’s.
In the sky were fat, little turtles on happy, fun clouds of doom taping everything. It seems the Digital World thought you all could use a bit of racing mayhem, for a while, since the D-Terminals just turn on by themselves. On the screen were three trophies and a giant, delicious cake. And a….mushroom….thing.
“WELCOME TO THE EIGHTH MARIO KART GRAND PRIX!” The creature shouted into the camera. It seemed to a bit too enthusiastic, as it jumped up and down excitedly. “We have a lovely prize for those that a cake, baked by the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom! Along with the Trophy as you can see here! Racers come down to Luigi’s Circuit, at Noon or Seven to enter the MARIO KART GRAND PRIX!”
The feed cuts. Enter the race or run havoc in your personal kart! It’s up to you!
(OOC: You guys can use the practice tracks for whatever you want! The winner of the official races will be decided by you guys!)

C'mon Ed! We have to do it too!
[Guilmon was right. This time around the enemy was really strong, and if nothing was done the two of them would get eaten.
Beyond that... Ed looked around at the track. Airdramon's rampage had already done a number on the surrounding area. There might be nothing left entirely if they lost. That wasn't right. Especially not because of his digimon's mistake.]
Alright then... [Ed never really liked going all out. It felt like he would hurt someone or end up making someone else sad. But in a case like this... it was definitely okay, right?]
A real man should clean up his mess! Go, Guilmon!
[The digimon charged forward as a second light shone from Ed's digivice.]
GUILMON, DIGIVOLVE GEKO..! Kyubimon. The Fire of Balance.
[The light fades around the fox digimon as well, which dashes forward far faster than Guilmon. She raises her tails and sends nine gouts of flame at the Airdramon.] FOX TAIL INFERNO!
[The flames hit home on the Airdramon, which roars in anger again, but this time in pain as well.]

[Hiccup gets to his feet after Guilmon Digivolves, taking his first good look at the two. Finally, after all this time, the two have Digivolved. Gomamon kept on talking about it in earnest to Hiccup whenever he got the chance, going on about how excited he was to finally Digivolve for the first time.
The thing that really astonishes Hiccup is Ikkakumon's size. In comparison to Gomamon, Ikkakumon is much, much larger. Heck, Hiccup could ride on his back without any trouble now if he wanted to. As impressive as all of this is though, he doesn't have much time to think about it. Airdramon circles around, shaking its head like a caged lion as it closes in on Ikkakumon and Kyubimon.
It flaps its wings and blasts another attack at the pair, two in quick succession. It's enough to make the second attack unavoidable for Ikkakumon due to his speed and size, but that doesn't stop him from retaliating.]
HARPOON TORPEDO!!
[The attack hits its target this time, sending the Digimon reeling back in the air a few feet.]

[The Airdramon withdraws quickly and avoids the blast this time, but finally seems to think better of trying to continue combat against two equals. It roars once more and retreats into the air.]

....Gomamon....?
[The massive walrus-like digimon turns his head with a low, rumbling chuckle, dropping one of his front flippers next to Hiccup with such force that the ground beside him trembles.]
It's still me Hic, mostly. Not Gomamon right now though. Call me Ikkakumon.
[Hiccup lets out a weak chuckle and steps a bit closer to the massive Digimon, running his fingers through his white fur.]
You....You saved me.
[Then he blinks, looking up at Ikkakumon.]
...Fearless. That's what I'll call you from now on. ...do you like that?
[Ikkakumon hesitates, before chuckling and lowering his head to nudge it against Hiccup's playfully.]
Sounds good to me kiddo. I like the sound of it. A'ight then, call me Fearless from now on.
no subject
Are you alright?
...You got a lot bigger. Kyubimon, right?
That's correct.
[Ed smiles, scratching the fox behind an ear.] ...No more 'Geko,' huh?
Don't be silly.
...It wouldn't match this form at all.
[Ed laughs nervously.] And that's the... only reason... huh?
Of course.
You're still you, after all. I guess that's kind of a relief.
no subject
So this is what Digivolving is like, huh?
Yup. At least now we can do it without you two riskin' yer necks over somethin'.
no subject
Ikkakumon's really big, huh. [Staring up at the massive digimon. Seriously man, you got huge.]
Hey, Ikkakumon. I bet I could win the race now if we did it without the carts.
Kyubimon.
I'm just saying I could.
no subject
Not on the ground, but you'd be a goner if this were a swimming race.
no subject
I skip like a smooth stone. A smooth stone. [Clearly she missed the idea of 'swimming like a rock.']
Sorry about before, Hiccup... Guilmon got a little excited, and... Well, you remember. She does weird things when she's excited.
no subject
[Fearless just shakes his head before shaking his entire body with a shudder and a loud sigh.]
Boy. I could get used to this.
Jut don't expect me to be giving you any piggy-back rides when you're like this.
no subject
...I don't know. You really need forelimbs to eat burgers. Unless someone wants to feed me, I want to go back soon.
[Kyubimon nudges Ed with her nose, pushing him forward a little.] H-hey... I don't know how it works..!
no subject
[Hiccup shrugs, looking back up at Fearless, who just chuckles.]
Nahh, not me. I could stay like this for a long time! ...Though I kinda wish there was more water around here..
no subject
Hah! Got it.
no subject
[Before Fearless can stop him, Hiccup copies Ed and in an instant he too shrinks back into Gomamon.]
Hey hey hey!! No fair, I wasn't ready!
no subject
You're a natural, Hiccup. A-anyways... should we just turn our karts back for home? I think it might be a good idea right about now.
