Go Rescue the Derp Fist
Who: People in the Defenders and Divers groups
What: The Search for Masaru doesn't go so well
When: June 28-June 30
Where: The Dark Field found on Server
The Trailmon to Server left hours ago. Twenty-one people were aboard and split their separate ways at a terminal close to the Village. Some went to protect the Yokomon and Koromon that were left unaffected by the corruption while most of the others had a mission at hand: rescuing the dummy Masaru Daimon (I mean, who is crazy enough to fall into a dark field after punching a digimon in the face?).
No Digimon seems to be around as group approaches the field. It as Ryou said, too, full of bright colors and random numbers. The size isn't great, so one must wonder how a boy got lost in there. Or perhaps you're unable to think on that when you realize how still everything is.
No wind seems to pass and no sound can be heard.
Whatever's going on, it can't be normal for the Digital World either, can it?
[[OOC: So here's how this will work! We will give you all a few rounds to prepare for going into the Dark Field. This includes roping off the Divers and making sure your groups are ready. For this we're going to need you guys to be a little speedy at first. Once we feel that everyone is ready, we will post of the individual group fight threads. The only difference this time is that we will be setting up a thread for the Divers.
The Digimon you will be fighting will also make their appearance! Please note it will take several hours after the Divers take their leave that the Digimon will appear. We will introduce these Digimon and explain the mechanics of their behavior, and will play them intermittently (Or we will try to! Bear with us if we miss a tag or two!)
Divers, unlike the last time, you will find that the tethers do not last very long. After about a half hour or so in the dark field, the ropes will disappear. Those on the outside will notice this too as the ropes you thought were secure suddenly are no longer there. On the 30th, the Divers will find a clue hinting that Masaru has found his way out of the dark field on his own, though you will not actually see him. It is then that you will be able to find your way out.
Please note for those reading the Divers thread, there is content involving at times graphic death, violence, and issues pertaining to eating disorders. Proceed with caution.
Good luck! If you have any questions please let us know. PM us, Plurk us, or email us. We should be around!]]

She stands up to keep watching the sight, her hold against Baron gets a bit tighter as she holds him close to her chest. She doesn't want to make him fight while exhausted, especially when he digivolved for the first time. It's good that the attention is not on them, but it could get ugly at any moment.]
It's trying to get inside the Dark Field.
no subject
We can't let it break in there, we gotta do somethin' ta stop it.
[The diver's didn't need more danger while they were in there. They had to retreat last time, but even something temporary would be better than nothing.
no subject
You guys ready for a charge?
[This was probably one of the stupidest things she's suggested.]
no subject
We can do this! A dear friend of mine is busy in there and I bet she doesn't want more on her back than she is dealing with now!
[No family to fight by her, no swords to defend herself with, but that doesn't mean she should let others get hurt because of it.]
I know I can't protect everyone from everything, but I can certainly protect her from this threat. So, let's do our best and not give up of them!
no subject
No, we can't protect them all, but this'll be better than standin' around doin' nothin'.
I am behind you on this. Let us do it.
[Bulkhead is of course the first to lead the charge toward that thing, Ryudamon stumbling some before he's following after him.]
Hey you!
[Maybe they can draw it's attention from the dark field too.]
no subject
But what the hell? She signed up for this, after all.]
Alright, charge!
[As they run, Gotsumon starts throwing rocks from his head, probably futile, but she's got the same idea as Bulkhead: distraction.]
no subject
The light itself enters the Dark Zone after much effort.]

[It's a good thing that she is physically fit enough to keep up with the running, even in a dress like hers. Baron jumps out of her arms, already getting to digivolving back into Dorugamon. The bond between Elizabeth and himself is, probably, at one of their strongest moments together. Fighting to protect what they care about: friends and their, current and at some point, temporary, home. Of course, both of them are tired from the first fight, but they need to distract Myotismon from getting in and hurting the Divers, especially Marley.]
Get away from there! You are not going to get inside and hurt them! I won't let you!
Power Metal!
[And here comes a round of iron cannonballs right towards the Undead King.]

Her crest. The Crest of Kindness.
It doesn’t just form. It continues to shine, forming a small sphere...and shooting a beam of light at the Dark Field. The pink light flows off in waves, keeping the long battle finally subdued. Still the beam doesn’t let up. Though the Dark Field holds for a few moments, another light from within it emerges, strong and unrelenting.
And together, they cut through the rainbow light, through the darkness inside, and reveal a path for the Chosen trapped inside.]

Cannonball!
[He fires off his own steel ball attack at the approaching Myotismon. But it was evidently not needed. Bulk's distracted by his digivice suddenly lighting up bright.]
What the--
[He halts as he's forced to shied his eyes from the bright light, Dorugamon following suit. But he looks over his arm enough to catch what happens, eyes widening as it not only makes the Myotismon retreat, but cuts through the dark field. Okay, what just happened?]
Uh, how'd we manage that?! [He stares at the crest thing that formed out of his digivice, though it's hovering closer to Elizabeth. Dorugamon shakes off the startlement.]
Keep alert! We still have him to deal with! [He stares down the Myotismon, even if it shrunk back, it could still be dangerous. He shoots off a couple more cannonballs it's way, trying to use it's distraction to his advantage.]
no subject
Whoa! What just-- [Not the time.] We have to keep him away from the Dark Field! Give them time to get out!
[Golemon now stands where Gotsumon is, and he swings a fist at the Myotismon, hoping to catch him while he's still disoriented.]
no subject
[Right when the light from Bulkhead's device caught her eye, her focus quickly went to it. Even with the light sphere cutting through the Dark Field and pushing Myotismon back, the pink light is a little nice sight for her to see, a feeling that is pounding her heart that things are going to be okay. Baron took a moment to back up, to observe the light as well. That serious expression is actually smiling a little.]
How fitting.
Baron?
I'll explain later. Let's use it and save them, okay?
[Even in a dark situation, she actually brings out a sweet smile and laugh, taking the crest into her hands. She doesn't understand much, but this item is important. Her digivice is now glowing brightly, a stronger light than when Dorumon became Dorugamon and Baron is now covered in a brighter light than the first time.]
Right! We can win this, everyone! I know we can!
Dorugamon digivolves into... Chirinmon!
[The creature that Baron became... It's like a mix between a horse and a dragon, but it puts a good feeling in her. Their bond feels so powerful, unstoppable a little. Now as Chirinmon, Baron dashes completely straight towards Myotismon, ready to attack with the giant red horn.]
Hurricane Blade!
no subject
The sky darkens as a flood's worth of bats come out of its cape.]
no subject
Bulkhead looks surprised as the other Dorugamon digivolves again. Whoa, so many surprises today. But the Myotismon's hissing brings his attention back to him. But the battle wasn't over yet. Now the Divers could be in even more danger with the field wide open now.]
Don't let him into the field. They wouldn't stand a chance. [The divers would pretty much be walking into an ambush right now, after whatever they've been facing in there. Dorugamon's ignoring his fatigue, with the adrenaline from the battle pumping through him again it's like he got a second wind.]
Sharp claws!
[He jumps back into tackling the hoard of bats that were released this time. Slashing at them with his claws. They've come too far to give up now. They can do this.
Bulkhead nods to Elizabeth at the last bit she says.]
We got this. We ain't retreatin' this time.
no subject
[Looks like all the hope's contagious; seeing their friends, battered but alive, it somehow boosts Terra's spirits.] Yeah! Golemon, kick his butt!
Sulfur Plume!
[From Golemon's mouth and back rise super-hot gasses that start to melt the bats approaching him again. He sends another wave out toward Myotismon.]
no subject
This time the blue light heads over to Terra and forms into her crest and tag.
Her Crest, the Crest of Friendship.]
no subject
You are not escaping from me...
[That's right, someone is preparing for one strong attack, but for now, the bats need to get out of here, so he is just slashing them away.
Elizabeth, however, noticed the lighting process from Bulkhead's digivice. The process was more simple than hers, but there stands a crest.]
You got one too!
no subject
The bats, though, have decided to conentrate on the Dorugamon.]
