Go Rescue the Derp Fist
Who: People in the Defenders and Divers groups
What: The Search for Masaru doesn't go so well
When: June 28-June 30
Where: The Dark Field found on Server
The Trailmon to Server left hours ago. Twenty-one people were aboard and split their separate ways at a terminal close to the Village. Some went to protect the Yokomon and Koromon that were left unaffected by the corruption while most of the others had a mission at hand: rescuing the dummy Masaru Daimon (I mean, who is crazy enough to fall into a dark field after punching a digimon in the face?).
No Digimon seems to be around as group approaches the field. It as Ryou said, too, full of bright colors and random numbers. The size isn't great, so one must wonder how a boy got lost in there. Or perhaps you're unable to think on that when you realize how still everything is.
No wind seems to pass and no sound can be heard.
Whatever's going on, it can't be normal for the Digital World either, can it?
[[OOC: So here's how this will work! We will give you all a few rounds to prepare for going into the Dark Field. This includes roping off the Divers and making sure your groups are ready. For this we're going to need you guys to be a little speedy at first. Once we feel that everyone is ready, we will post of the individual group fight threads. The only difference this time is that we will be setting up a thread for the Divers.
The Digimon you will be fighting will also make their appearance! Please note it will take several hours after the Divers take their leave that the Digimon will appear. We will introduce these Digimon and explain the mechanics of their behavior, and will play them intermittently (Or we will try to! Bear with us if we miss a tag or two!)
Divers, unlike the last time, you will find that the tethers do not last very long. After about a half hour or so in the dark field, the ropes will disappear. Those on the outside will notice this too as the ropes you thought were secure suddenly are no longer there. On the 30th, the Divers will find a clue hinting that Masaru has found his way out of the dark field on his own, though you will not actually see him. It is then that you will be able to find your way out.
Please note for those reading the Divers thread, there is content involving at times graphic death, violence, and issues pertaining to eating disorders. Proceed with caution.
Good luck! If you have any questions please let us know. PM us, Plurk us, or email us. We should be around!]]

Once they make it over and finally get it back into the Zone, there's a strange stillness for a moment or two.
Then, suddenly, a hand bursts from the Field, renewed somewhat from the Field's energy. It doesn't seem to be targeting the Chosen now that it's back in the Field, only the Digimon. They're still close, so the Myotismon launches a Crimson Lightning attack right from the entrance at Seadramon and Devidramon.]

This thing...just won't die!
no subject
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
[Was all Seadramon got to shriek before also being blasted back. Kaldur tensed as both the large digimon were sent flying and he looks back to the entrance, clenching his fists. This just wasn't going their way and it was far too frustrating. He has nothing to force the hand back in either. Kaldur hates feeling useless.]
Damn it, we nearly had him.
[Seadramon, herself, is pretty enraged. She's beaten up pretty bad but if Kaldur is stubborn then she takes it to a whole other level. She roars and lunges at the outstretched hand. She doesn't bother blasting it, she just clamps down on it and tries to rip it off with sharp serpent teeth.]
no subject
Strangely though, they don't seem to be attacking Devidramon, Kaldur, or Leatherhead, since they backed away from the Field's entrance.]
no subject
He looked back to Leatherhead, who while eager to join the fight, seemed to struggle with getting up at the moment.
Devidramon scowls before calling out to the digimon.]
Hey pal! CRIMSON CLAW!
[He launches his next attack at the offender's direction.]

Seadramon gasps at the swarm and hisses loudly as she feels thousands of tiny teeth biting at her. She's feeling weaker too, but she's not going to give up this form just yet dammit. She thrashes and tries to smack at the bats with her tail and fins but it is mostly useless. She closes her eyes and concentrates on the electrical pulse again.]
Electric Shock

Second pass, and the Digimon simply reforms, trying to make it's way back out of the entrance once more with its claws outstretched towards Seadramon. It's obvious now that pushing it back into the Field has just given it free energy to feed off of, so it can continue to reform itself and attack.]
no subject
He wants to go home now and forget this whole thing happened. Devidramon goes on the offensive again before urging Seadramon away. Come on, dude, it's a lost cause.]
We should probably get out of here.
no subject
Seadramon! He is right. We need to fall back. Now.
[Seadramon roars, almost defiantly.]
NO! We can still fight! We can take him!
[His voice drops and he gains a very serious expression, taking on more authority.]
Seadramon. Fall. Back.
[Seadramon dodges the stretched hand, slapping it with her tail and twisting to retreat from the field.]
