Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island

Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.

They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.

Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.

It's time to go and see what that's about.

[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.

NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

[You watches the Digimon before her, rather impressed at his strength. To think it came from a little Tapirmon...heck, even a Bullmon. She's definitely swooning (as much as a sheep can)

It's brief, though, as she has to shield her eyes from the light of the explosion, immediately getting back into battle mindset.

But the way he talks is so rom-NO, FOCUS.]

You got it! I'll back you up no problem!

[She scurries off, to make a stealthy way around the digimon, without Andromon catching onto their little plan. Hopefully a pink sheep is subtle enough.]

[Lucky for them, it seems Andromon is focused on the more powerful opponent. Another blade forms from his arm and he fires it off, followed by another - and another! Rapid-fire!]

Retreat, digital menaces!

[Yes, good! With the attention on him, Sprocket can continue to hold defense. Taking his blades once more, he doesn't fire anything, but instead spins them rapidly much like a propeller. This shields him from the oncoming assault and he smirks confidently.]

Surely you can do better than that!

[...Much of this is a bluff, though, because even though he can withstand Andromon's rapid fire, he can't exactly fire any attacks back at him. Just another reason why he's so happy You was able to sneak by. If she can get a good shot, then just maybe they can knock him down and thrash him.]

[While Wheeljack makes sure You makes the go-around, he can't help but notice Sprocket's swordsmanship. It was...impressive, to say the least. He remembers doing something slightly similar once.]

Gotta admit, your cow's pretty good, Arcee.

[What? A genuine compliment from Wheeljack? SAY IT ISN'T SO.]

[You's made her way around to Andromon's back, pumping herself up mentally before letting anything go.]

Focus, You...Focus...You can do this! I mean...I can do this! Or You. That's my name...WHATEVER. I'm ready.

[Her eyes harden, staring straight at her target, which is the small of Andromon's back. There's a quick glance to Vajramon before she aims her Wool Ball Booster, starting to charge it up.]

Wool Grenade!!

[And those grenades shoot out from her pack, aimed directly at Andromon to knock him down. Sure, it'd only stun, but hopefully it'd bring a little bit of hurt too.]

[Direct hit! The attack quells the onslaught of energy blades...and takes him down to his knees! The organic leg starts sparking, quite a bit. Maybe it's a weak point?]

[robotfightclub]

[Only one way to find out. Now that he has the chance to, Sprocket stops spinning his swords and immediately jabs them into the floor at full force.]

TERRA BLADE!!

[He bucks up on his hind legs and uses his forefeet to pound onto his swords, causing an intense shockwave to fly straight for Andromon. Scrap and chunks of metal start to fly due to the force of the attack.

Arcee has to hold her arms up to shield herself, peeking just a little to see if the attack connects.]

[You sees the attack coming, using this moment to work her way back around and position herself behind Sprocket. The best way to dodge an incoming attack? Get behind the wielder. Thankfully, she's rather quick for a Sheepmon, so her prancing only costs her a few seconds.

She uses this shield to peek around, getting a look at the Andromon who's been struck to the ground. She'd be lying if she didn't have two more Wool Grenades ready, in case the collapse was a fake out. No one's getting caugh by surprise on her watch.]

You show em! Reel in the big one! Lay the smack down!

[Wheeljack too, shields himself from the force, using his coat as some kind of...protection. It's not the greatest defense, but it's better than nothing.]

[Another hit! Andromon yells, the shockwave sending him flying back and...

the black gear flying out of his leg and dissolving into nothing.

He stills, moaning on the ground.]

[robotfightclub]

[With a snort, Sprocket grabs his swords from out of the floor and sheathes them again. He takes interest in that black gear, raising an eyebrow at it suspiciously.]

Interesting...

Hey hey, what are you doing? Don't put your weapons away, it's not like being passed out means he won't attack us again.

[Arcee motions towards the fallen body of Andromon to stress her point. They did, after all, find him unconscious.

Sprocket's ear flicks in response.]

I wish to investigate something before I continue any assault. Besides, if he does choose to attack me again, I have dear Sheepmon to back me up.

[He trots over to the fallen Digimon so he can get a closer look. There's no way that gear was a part of him...]

That's right! Don't you worry, Arcee. He's perfectly safe in my hands! Hooves! You get what I mean...!

[She shakes her Wool Ball Booster to emphasize as she watches Sprocket move closer, mentally making threats at the Andromon should he pull anything.]

So let me get this straight. Fight bad guy, black thing comes out and disappears right when it goes unconscious. Not really a fan of the supernatural, but I know machines, and I know a bad part when I see one.

[And it looks like...Andromon's waking up.]

Oh... Ohhhh, what a strange situation...

[Sprocket gives a look of surprise. Well would you look at that, he's speaking intelligently. This helps fuel his theory and without hesitation, he offers Andromon one of his large hands to help him back up.]

Yes, I certainly agree.

[His tail swooshes.]

Care to explain your actions just now? No offense intended but unless you do not provide a good explanation, you'll have to understand why we have no reason to trust you.

Yeah, really, buddy! I mean, we didn't do anything to you! Except for maybe tresspassing, but even then, it was COMPLETELY this place's fault. If I had my choice, I'd ask to be put on the beach or even some place with a nice view of a waterfall because a date really isn't a date if you're trapped in a power plant or fighting YOU not me. You as in..you, the Andromon...--

[Andromon sits up. It doesn't seem like he's much bothered by You's rapid-fire shouts, honestly. He rubs his head. What an intense battle.]

My apologies. I had been doing maintenance and got stuck under some debris. I regained consciousness shortly after you freed me, but I was overcome with an awful, dark sensation and I couldn't control my body.

[robotfightclub]

Hmn...

[He rubs his chin.]

Perhaps the gear...

The gear. The gear that was in his leg?

[You quiets herself, letting the Andromon speak, although it's only a gasp to confirm what Sprocket is saying.]

Hey, yeah! It was dark and awful looking, just like the feeling Andromon said he had!
