robotfightclub: (BUT WHY)

[Arcee gives a mental groan out of irritation when Ratchet refuses to do what she asks. She gets ready to turn around and repeat herself, but things suddenly change when he touches her shoulder.

Her eyes double in size as she realizes what is happening. No one's...ever really touched her like that before. Or at all. The most she's ever gotten were playful nudges from Wheeljack and even then it only lasted less than a second. She never had an opportunity to realize it before, but touch feels a lot stranger when you're human.

But not only that, it actually calms her down. Her mind soon floods with thoughts, what was she doing? Ratchet just got here and here she was hoping that he'd get over it the moment they got to her apartment. Her apartment. She shouldn't even have an apartment, this is ridiculous.

Guilt begins to set in. Was she rushing him? Now that she thinks about it, she had to rush when she got here. She was all alone, after all. Trapped in a city, trapped in a body, surrounded mostly by teenage children. She had absolutely no one to relate to and explaining herself felt like an uphill battle. She had no choice but to "just get used to it". ...Which was exactly what she just described as giving up earlier. That realization hits her hard and she no longer looks surprised as Ratchet continues to study her arm. Instead, she only looks sad and disappointed in herself. This city changed her so much...

So go ahead, Ratchet. Take your time, explore her, erm, arm. She won't say anything or let it bother her, this is a completely normal reaction and she realizes it now. She's just glad she could be here for him during what she knows is a difficult time.

...

And then Bearmon had to ruin it.

The moment her hand is free, she goes back to her irritated state and grabs two glasses in a huff. WELL, SO MUCH FOR THAT.]

Think I'm gonna need something to drink, too...

[She then starts grumbling to herself, although what she's saying is anyone's guess.]
