[Hikari looks at the little group assembled.]

Not at all. We're waiting to see if anyone else shows.

How many more people do we need? [She recalls Hikari saying they needed at least four people, but Hikari is here, and that makes four, so??]

[digilight]

...There was someone else I talked to, and I hoped he'd come, but... [Hikari puts on a determined smile.] If you're ready. Angewomon and I will hold off anything that comes out, while you gather the data.

... Are you sure she can handle it alone though? I mean, the things that come out of the Dark Fields are pretty powerful. And don't like dying.

[ She's already grabbing her digivice, clutching it in her hand. ]

If you think you'll need more help for fighting, I can digivolve Biyomon to Garudamon...

[He's late. He had a feeling he would be. But it had taken his Keramon a long time to talk him off his phone booth, and longer still to convince him to let it come with him. It knew where it was going, though, and he ended up having no choice but to follow it.]

[To where the human girl had said to go...]

[There are more humans here than he likes to see, and so he hesitates, hanging back from their group, arms wrapped around himself. ... Which probably looks creepy given his height and eyepatch, but.]

[It's the Keramon who shuffles forward first.]

Sorry. We're late... it took a little while to make him come...

[digilight]

[Hikari brightens so much it's like she's glowing (not literally).] You came! [She beams at Kagerou, while Angewomon addresses Chika.]

Help would be appreciated. I'm strong, but if more than one come out, I probably won't be able to hold them back.

[perrytheperson]

[Perry nods and looks to Bartholomew. They'll need support it sounds like and while he can't yet get his partner to the Ultimate level, a Wizardmon might come in handy. If for nothing else than data collection.

He looks ready to go, just say the word.]

Well I think we're ready. If I need to evolve I can too...though only to Champion.

[ Chika nods, smiling a bit. ]

Okay. When we're ready to go then, I'll have Biyomon digivolve then. It's... probably not a good idea to do it now unless we're ready to get started. He can hold it for a long time, but if we end up fighting those Myotismon like we did the last time I was at a Dark Field he'll need as much energy as he can get.

Yeah, it seemed like nothing we did worked against those things. Hopefully it will be a little easier here.

Coronamon can only evolve to Champion level as well, but hopefully we won't have too much trouble...

[The talk of evolving and Champions and everything just plain shoots over his head. He has no idea what they're talking about... but nods. And looks to Hikari.]

Yes. It made me.

[His chin jerks in the direction of the Keramon, holding onto his pantleg.]

... Do we start now?

[digilight]

[Hikari grins at them all.] Yeah. Now. Don't worry, we can handle the tough stuff.

[She nods at Angewomon, who leads the charge. As soon as she's within five feet of the Dark Field, a Devimon emerges and lunches itself at her. They end up in a grapple, and surprisingly Angewomon has a troubling time keeping it back.

Hikari looks to the rest of them.] Who's fastest? We gotta get the data.

[ Chika wastes not time at all, her orange digisoul flaring around her body before she slams her hand on her digivice and it all shoots towards Biyomon, who began charging at the Devimon.

He became Garudamon in and instant, and soon enough joined the fray to try to help the angle with the Devimon she was dealing with.

Chika would've offered to go, but she really doubted that she was the fastest out of all of them. She hadn't been particularly active before she had ended up joining DATS back home. ]

[perrytheperson]

[Perry is taken aback by the vicious attack from Devimon. But he quickly refocuses on the girl's question. He may not look it, but Perry is fairly quick even in this form. He's been in battle before and moves with more grace than you would think.

He raises his hand. He'll do it.]

[repeatsfive]

[Lillet's a quick thinker, and good at breaking through runes, but she's not too sure about running, so she doesn't volunteer, and is relieved when Perry does.

In the meantime, Coronamon digivolves into Firamon, ready to help hold back the Devimon.]

[Suddenly all the creatures are growing and changing, and what the hell is going on, how does this happen --]

[They're fighting. His creature... it's too small to do any good. And no one ever mentioned the whole "evolving" thing to him.]

[Speed though... He glances at the other male.]

I'll go as well.

[digilight]

[Hikari wordlessly hands the device to Perry and nods to Kagerou as well. The Devimon's knocked back by the force of the two Ultimates, which gives Angewomon time to fire off a Celestial Arrow and injure it more.]

[ Chika's still worried, even though it looks like Garudamon and Angewomon had things handled for now. She knew that there was no chance it could ever be even remotely this easy though, and she's just waiting to see if something will go wrong.

Garudamon doesn't ready his own attack either. Angewoman's attack should be a lot stronger against Devimon. So instead he's going to charge forward to send a punch to the dark digimon's head. ]

[repeatsfive]

[The two Ultimates seem to be doing the job for now, but Lillet and Firamon remain on guard just in case. There's no telling what might go wrong, after all.]

[perrytheperson]

[Perry gives Hikari what he hopes is a reassuring smile. He then looks to the only other male on the trip and nods. Looks like they are up. He gestures towards the right with the device, letting Kagerou know which way to go first. The other didn't have the same experience that Bartholomew did in knowing how to act and the different tactics they had been training for.

Without another word, not that he had said much to begin with, Perry takes off, making sure to keep his head low and eyes sharp for incoming attacks that he will need to dodge.]

[fuckinstoplights]

[He nods -- the quiet is fine with him. He's quiet too. but that's not important right now. They have a job to do.]

[He follows in the other's wake, as quickly as he can, not entirely sure what he can do with this, but ready, in case he's needed.]

[digilight]

[Devimon takes the punch. Sharp to the head, it falls back...and like lightning, another emerges from the Dark Field, flying at the runners, Perry and Kagerou.]

Look out!

Garudamon! Go help them!

[ Garudamon doesn't waste any time, turning his attention to the other Devimon and flying forward, ready to tackle it into the ground. Or something. Maybe he should try a Shadow Wing to set it on fire?

Either way, he was going to have to catch the stupid thing first. ]

You're not getting away!

[perrytheperson]

[Bartholomew leaps between Perry and the Devimon.]

Tapirmon digivolve to...Wizardmon.

[The Wizardmon has the same fedora as Bartholomew wore, making it look a little different from most Wizardmon.

Perry keeps the device close to his chest and lunges past Wizardmon and Garudamon to get it closer to the field. He has to get that data. That is his mission and focus now. He trusts Wizardmon to have his back and his other support to do their job. He looks towards Kagerou and makes sure they are distanced enough that IF Perry gets snagged he can toss it to him to continue.

Meanwhile, Wizardmon slashes his staff through the air, lighting and clouds converging in front of him as a sort of barrier.]

Thunder Cloud!

[fuckinstoplights]

[Kagerou's partner has latched onto his leg, pretty much useless at this point, thanks to being ignored since Kagerou woke up here. But he catches that look, and edges away, putting some distance between them, just in case.]

[He's the backup here, he understands it.]

[... it's familiar. Very familiar. He can do this.]

[The new Devimon is moving fast, but Wizardmon's lightning slows it down. The problem is, it begins to reach, for Kagerou and Perry, the ones closest, even if it can't reach them.

Angewomon is tied up with the first Devimon, which has taken advantage of the confusion and started using its claws on her. However...]
