What: Turtles 16th Mutation Day Party

When: September 29th, evening.

Where: Newbie Apartment Lobby

It had taken him a good few hours, but at last Donatello had finished setting up everything for the party. He had gotten everything that he felt was needed, snacks, party favors, decorations, working in a general store really paid off sometimes. He was expecting Mikey to bring the cake and most likely a bunch of other things since it was Mikey and all

Donnie gave everything one last look over, holding Paolo's digiegg tightly in his arms and wrapped in a purple blanket. To be honest, he hadn't planned to do anything for his Mutation Day. Not only because he had originally been alone, but after all that happened with the Black Out he hadn't felt that great. He was also feeling a little under the weather since he woke up, nothing too bad but he wasn't feeling great. He really just wanted to go back to bed.

But now that Mikey was back and since he had practiaclly begged them to, Donnie would go with the party. As long as Mikey was happy, hencould live with feeling a tad sick. That's all that mattered.

[She smiles, returning the hug.] I'm...glad you like it.

Since you came to the party, do you want some cake? I even made one myself!

Oh you made it? I'd love some.

Yeah, I'm actually the one who cooks for the family. I'm pretty good, if I do say so my self.

Oh really? I bet the cake will taste wonderful then.

[Mikey points to the cake with the turtles decorated on the outside, as well as each brother's weapon of choice.]

Wow, it does look good.

Are those your other brothers?

Heh Yeah, though really, that would be us before our mutation. I even put a little thing of each of our weapons. There's Donnie's bo staff, and my nunchaku, the katana are my brother Leo's and the sai are what Raph uses.

[He pointed to each weapon as he mentioned them, sounding just a little wistful as he talked about his two brothers who weren't present.]

[She couldn't help but giggle a little.] You all would have been so cute as turtles...

I think I still make a pretty cute mutant turtle.

[He grinned in response, clearly joking about it.]

[She giggled.] I'm sure you do.

[She couldn't really say what a mutant turtle looked like, but a turtle was a turtle.]

[He giggles too, then glances at her conspiratorially.]

If you ever meet Raph he might try to tell you I'm the worst looking one, but don't believe him. I think he does that cause he doesn't like being the ugly one out of us.

[She covers her mouth, trying to hold back a laugh. It's such a mean thing to say, but she can't help how funny it sounds.]

[He laughs out loud, grinning.]

Just don't tell him that I said that, yeah?

I-I won't. My lips are sealed.

Good, or he would probably chase me all around the city to try to 'beat the green off' me.

[Despite what he was saying he didn't sound actually scared of his brother, if anything it sounded like some kind of strange game to play.]

[She giggles a little.] It sounds like you're really close to your brothers.

Yeah, pretty much. I mean it was just the four of us and our sensei living together down in the sewers for fifteen years. Kinda hard not to be close when they're all you got.

That must be nice, though. I don't have any siblings, so I don't know what it's like...

It is... I think. I mean, I've never been an only kid. It's really been different being here and not having all of my family around, that's for sure.

I bet it would be. Donnie said the same thing before too.

Yeah... I'm lucky that Donnie's here, and knows this place already. I think I'd be a bit lost if he wasn't around.

I'm sure you'd find people who would have helped you, even if Donnie hadn't been here.
