Seifer pulled his knees close to his chest to give her more room. If she hated him, he'd know, huh? He felt like she hated him, so what she said didn't make sense to him. Perhaps he didn't have a firm grasp on what fondness in other people was, but he was positive he was familiar with hate. Of course, when his actions were taken into consideration....
She was assuming again.
"I said you could visit," was all he intended to say. After a moment of hesitation, he continued. "And I never said I hated you."
He leaned into the wall more, turning his gaze away from her, suddenly wondering whether or not she was mad about his botched attempt to rescue her and Neku. It was hard to read Roze, but at least he didn't go assuming things.
