The audience was closer than the girl imagined. If Jinx had been more aware of the world, she may have caught a glimpse of a shadow, long hair fluttering in the wind. But that glimpse would soon be gone. Rooftops did little to provide cover for those who traverse them after all. So what little there was, Rider had to make the most of it.

Rider wasn't watching the performance so much, but she gathered most of what she needed to from sound: the voice and sounds of footsteps. A girl, teenager, acrobatic, carrying extra weight. She had skill as far as humans went, but for Rider, traversing rooftops was hardly a feat.

A wonder, what was she doing up here? Perhaps with waiting, Rider would have an answer.
