Misha couldn't help the laugh that bubbled up at the attempt. She shook her head, shifting her hands back into her pockets. "That's fine, kid, don't worry about it. Hey, why don't you be a gentleman and walk me? I'm not sure I remember the way back, anyway."
It was a blatant lie, but it was either call her out on it or just go along and give her some company for the trip. Not that her digimon were bad company... it was just easier, sometimes, to hang out with your own species, someone unrelated but who might understand the human condition anyway.
"Besides, you might as well explain what's going on with other partners. I thought it was one per customer?"
