The park... Guilmon really liked the park, but then Titamon had to go and make a mess of the place. Nonetheless, Guilmon chose to visit anyway, to help with restoration and to at least try and play in the safer areas. Of course, he couldn't play forever, and after some fun romping around, he turned back towards the streets, more than ready to head home and eat some tasty bread...

He made it to the edge of the park before he froze, eyes popping wide open and jaw dropping at the sight of another Dukemon. He reached up and rubbed his eyes, poked himself with one of his claws, but nope. This wasn't a dream!

But then, he saw another Sakuyamon, didn't he? And there were two other Guilmon in the city...

One thought popped into Guilmon's mind.

"Hey, are you Mikasa's Guilmon? I didn't think the new partners could evolve yet!"
