HOLIDAY ARRIVALS.
Characters: Everyone! (Only new arrivals are allowed in the Terminal Room)
When: Starting December 3rd, 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
It has been a long November, and the weather is starting to get colder, a side-effect of the worlds merging. Maybe it's welcome, maybe it's a hindrance, but a rumble rises at the start of the day, signalling new Chosen are starting to arrive. Culumon bounces about the Terminal Room, lonely after waiting so long. Stepping outside, the Chosen will find a bit of a mess before them. The city's been through a lot lately.
Outside the Main Terminal, there is a bin with pamphlets to help supplement the information received on the new Chosen's D-Terminals. The information is...a little bit outdated, with last month's troubling reveals.
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

"I know you, don't I?"
It wasn't that she didn't remember Terminal Tokyo. It was kind of hard to forget once she was back. (Whatever quantum uncertainty the worlds' peril lay inside, it apparently didn't exist once you were outside it which was definitely of no help when she was back home.) It was just that there had been a five month gap between her last time here and now, five months of being incapable of thinking about the place. Thelma was easy to remember, as was her situation with Mr. Beautiful Butterfly, but some other things were still taking more brain power to pull out than the rest.
"Yeah, I definitely know you," she said, tilting her head in Cam's direction.
"Friend of yours?" asked Psychemon.
Thelma scoffed knowingly at Pyschemon. There was definitely some rivalry going on there. "Of course not. She remembers friends."
Misha just cut her gaze toward them for a moment, brows raised. Now, guys? Really?

It's not like he can really say no you don't or something of the sort, avoiding confrontation all together, because eventually that'd come back to bite him. And it's not like he really wants to avoid her or doesn't like her! Cam would just rather keep things as not-complicated as possible, since everything was complicated times twelve for quite some time.
"We, talked a few times. Hi. ...You, uh...left?"
no subject
"Never existed?" repeated Thelma. She sounded somewhat bereft.
Misha shrugged her shoulders lightly. "Yeah. Whatever's happening that needs to be stopped—it still needs to be stopped, right?" she said aside to Cam, "Well, whatever it is, it's doing some kind of detached process. If it really is gonna hit everyone's homes, they're never gonna see it coming 'til it's too late."
Despite having a muzzle that made it look impossible to pull off, Psychemon let out a low whistle. "Talk about pressure."
This time, the shrug was only one-shouldered. Even less worry than the comment beforehand. Misha was keeping an eye on Cam, recognizing that they were still having a conversation, but also knowing she needed some time to sort things out with her digimon. Both of them.
"Have you been here this whole time, kid?" she asked. "Was it just me?"
no subject
He briefly nods, almost saying something, yes, it does need to be stopped-- but she keeps on talking so he stays quiet, until he's addressed again. "Wh- yeah, I've been here. Since... April."
In his arms, Salamon watches, still silent and observant.
no subject
"Could be better, though," Psychemon commented. That got her a slight nod from both Misha and Thelma. This relationship was not what Misha would have expected, she wasn't even sure where Psychemon was supposed to fit, but... at least none of them seemed to be at each others' throats yet. Even if just looking at Psychemon was like getting a contact-high. No naturally occurring creature should have all those colors at once. Seriously.

Things meaning the city, and meaning everyone. Cam glances down at Salamon, not like the little Digimon would know. Salamon's already looking back up at him. The little guy always just seems to be watching.
no subject
"What happened before that?" she asked.
no subject
The next words are slow and hesitant, since Cam doesn't exactly know how to start them. "How much do you remember about, uh...the Scope Virus?"
no subject
She shook her head at the question, looking both confused and somewhat concerned. "Scope virus? First time I've heard the term. Guess it doesn't matter if it's biological or digital here, huh?"
no subject
The conversation topic isn't a pleasing one; he knows very well that the last few months' actions weren't exactly his choice, but that doesn't mean he likes to think about them.
"It didn't just infect Digimon. 'Bout...half the city started acting weird, maybe two months back. It only stopped when Titamon showed up." His fingers closest to Salamon rhythmically run over the little guy's fur. "...But, uh, no sign of it, since then."
no subject
She trailed off, not really caring to voice the rest of her thought. If Titamon's presence or attack had cleared out the Scope virus, what was to say that it was something permanent and not just a temporary measure before it all crowded back in? Then again, no need to worry the kid with her insistence to follow thoughts through with possibilities and ways to counter them. It was the work of a paranoid mind, one taught the hard way to expect anything to come her way.
no subject
"Maybe," he says. "Titamon, uh, fixing it, I mean. We don't really know why it happened when it did, 'cause, well." He looks down at Salamon again. Salamon stares back. "Our...other partners all turned up around that time. ...Have they, explained that?"
no subject
"They tried, but I wasn't really listening," she said in explanation. More like she was still far too out of it from the fall into Terminal Tokyo to pay attention. It was hard to take in new information when the entirety of your childhood drama was buzzing around in your head.
no subject
It has been awhile since Cam got here, but he remembers the desire to just collapse and relax. "Uh, I won't keep you, if you're...tired or anything, the apartments are mostly still standing."
Cam of course overlooks the fact that she started talking to him, but, you know, details.
no subject
It was a blatant lie, but it was either call her out on it or just go along and give her some company for the trip. Not that her digimon were bad company... it was just easier, sometimes, to hang out with your own species, someone unrelated but who might understand the human condition anyway.
"Besides, you might as well explain what's going on with other partners. I thought it was one per customer?"
no subject
He sets off and Salamon stretches out his neck and, surprisingly, speaks for the first time. "We were in stasis." Like Cam himself, he's got a lower voice than one would think from his appearance. "Uh, the other partners, all of us."
A surprised chuckle is Cam's response, and with a free hand he rubs Salamon's head. "Started to think you forgot how to talk. Yeah, they showed up with Sakuyamon-- d'you remember her? -- and said she found 'em in Titamon's...base, whatever that is. The others, um... I guess technically they're...clones, but...Lucette -- um, my partner, she's working -- and the rest of the Digimon we got here. They're like...a part of these guys. Like... Twins. Ones that don't look alike."
It's a bumbling, utterly twisting response, but throughout it Cam fondly scratches behind Salamon's ears.
no subject
"Siblings?" Psychemon said, clearly aghast.
Thelma harrumphed, readjusting her cap. "Don't sound so excited. Oh, does that mean I'm older?!"
"Hey, no!" argued Psychemon. "I'm older! I was in stasis, right?"
Misha pinched at the bridge of her nose again. "Doesn't matter. I'm older than both of you, so there." Perhaps not the most mature comeback, but she wasn't here to be the adult responsible for everyone else.
no subject
He looks at the bickering Digimon and comments, "you know, you both wanna protect her, right? Can't you get along because of that?"
no subject
"Misha's right," Thelma said with a bobble of her head.
Psychemon nodded along emphatically. "Don't even joke about me wanting to protect her. That's obvious."
no subject
"Well, then you're just fine. This lil' guy and Lucette are the same." He nods at Salamon, who shrinks a little at being talked about. "Would suck if you like...tore down the room trying to fight each other, it's happened."
The poor room. At least they're there now, just about.
no subject
Speaking of the apartments, Misha pulled out her D-Terminal to check on the message from Koushirou. It had her rooming assignment on it, after all, since the room wasn't the same as last time. It had probably been filled since then. "Floor one, room two," she read aloud. "Nice and close to the entrance, at least."
no subject
He leans over to look for himself. Oh, well, that certainly says what he thinks she'd said.
"Uh, that's my room."

Talking is hard. Because of how much the virus messed him up, the most talking he's done lately is to Harley, and maybe Maya. Now he's got a roommate again. That means more talking. "It'll be good. 've been alone for awhile."
no subject
Fuck. Wow, she really was out of her head. She swallowed, then averted her gaze, shoulders squaring unintentionally. Nothing was said to explain the sudden interruption, nothing to apologize for or otherwise try to make up for it.
"Is it just us?" she asked. She could deal with this kid, definitely, but an unknown third might be pushing it just now.
