HOLIDAY ARRIVALS.
Characters: Everyone! (Only new arrivals are allowed in the Terminal Room)
When: Starting December 3rd, 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
It has been a long November, and the weather is starting to get colder, a side-effect of the worlds merging. Maybe it's welcome, maybe it's a hindrance, but a rumble rises at the start of the day, signalling new Chosen are starting to arrive. Culumon bounces about the Terminal Room, lonely after waiting so long. Stepping outside, the Chosen will find a bit of a mess before them. The city's been through a lot lately.
Outside the Main Terminal, there is a bin with pamphlets to help supplement the information received on the new Chosen's D-Terminals. The information is...a little bit outdated, with last month's troubling reveals.
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

"They tried, but I wasn't really listening," she said in explanation. More like she was still far too out of it from the fall into Terminal Tokyo to pay attention. It was hard to take in new information when the entirety of your childhood drama was buzzing around in your head.

It has been awhile since Cam got here, but he remembers the desire to just collapse and relax. "Uh, I won't keep you, if you're...tired or anything, the apartments are mostly still standing."
Cam of course overlooks the fact that she started talking to him, but, you know, details.

It was a blatant lie, but it was either call her out on it or just go along and give her some company for the trip. Not that her digimon were bad company... it was just easier, sometimes, to hang out with your own species, someone unrelated but who might understand the human condition anyway.
"Besides, you might as well explain what's going on with other partners. I thought it was one per customer?"
no subject
He sets off and Salamon stretches out his neck and, surprisingly, speaks for the first time. "We were in stasis." Like Cam himself, he's got a lower voice than one would think from his appearance. "Uh, the other partners, all of us."
A surprised chuckle is Cam's response, and with a free hand he rubs Salamon's head. "Started to think you forgot how to talk. Yeah, they showed up with Sakuyamon-- d'you remember her? -- and said she found 'em in Titamon's...base, whatever that is. The others, um... I guess technically they're...clones, but...Lucette -- um, my partner, she's working -- and the rest of the Digimon we got here. They're like...a part of these guys. Like... Twins. Ones that don't look alike."
It's a bumbling, utterly twisting response, but throughout it Cam fondly scratches behind Salamon's ears.

"Siblings?" Psychemon said, clearly aghast.
Thelma harrumphed, readjusting her cap. "Don't sound so excited. Oh, does that mean I'm older?!"
"Hey, no!" argued Psychemon. "I'm older! I was in stasis, right?"
Misha pinched at the bridge of her nose again. "Doesn't matter. I'm older than both of you, so there." Perhaps not the most mature comeback, but she wasn't here to be the adult responsible for everyone else.

He looks at the bickering Digimon and comments, "you know, you both wanna protect her, right? Can't you get along because of that?"
no subject
"Misha's right," Thelma said with a bobble of her head.
Psychemon nodded along emphatically. "Don't even joke about me wanting to protect her. That's obvious."
no subject
"Well, then you're just fine. This lil' guy and Lucette are the same." He nods at Salamon, who shrinks a little at being talked about. "Would suck if you like...tore down the room trying to fight each other, it's happened."
The poor room. At least they're there now, just about.

Speaking of the apartments, Misha pulled out her D-Terminal to check on the message from Koushirou. It had her rooming assignment on it, after all, since the room wasn't the same as last time. It had probably been filled since then. "Floor one, room two," she read aloud. "Nice and close to the entrance, at least."
no subject
He leans over to look for himself. Oh, well, that certainly says what he thinks she'd said.
"Uh, that's my room."

Talking is hard. Because of how much the virus messed him up, the most talking he's done lately is to Harley, and maybe Maya. Now he's got a roommate again. That means more talking. "It'll be good. 've been alone for awhile."
no subject
Fuck. Wow, she really was out of her head. She swallowed, then averted her gaze, shoulders squaring unintentionally. Nothing was said to explain the sudden interruption, nothing to apologize for or otherwise try to make up for it.
"Is it just us?" she asked. She could deal with this kid, definitely, but an unknown third might be pushing it just now.
no subject
"Yeah. After last group, it's been just me." He opens the door for her, into the Meeting Hall's lobby. "Last few didn't really...decorate their rooms, so you won't have to worry about that."

The room itself, of course, is close. The benefits of having one on the ground floor. Cam fumbles a bit with his key, as he has Salamon still nestled in his arms. The main room is still rather bare. A mini-fridge, a microwave, both next to the TV. Beyond that, no extra furnishings.
"I've got the one closest to the door. 'Sides that, uh...yeah, everything's free."
no subject
"We should get a futon," she enthused. "We could play games out here all night with TV on, or get some music!"
Misha couldn't help but smile at the idea. That sounded like a hell of a lot of fun, but... She glanced toward Cam. "Nah, if we're getting a futon, it'll go in my room. They're big enough for all of us if we don't mind cozying up."
Thelma nodded in agreement. "We'll make it work! Which room do you want?"
Psychemon was already pointing to the end of the hall by the time Misha said, "Furthest from the door suits me fine. And our new friend, apparently," she added once she saw Psychemon.
no subject
Someone else, however? "Lucette'll be outta work later. I bet she'd love to take you up on that, one day. She likes...fun."
no subject
Noticing the motion and choosing to ignore it, Misha kept her attention on Cam. "You say 'fun' like it's a poison or something. C'mon, what kind of fun is she into?"
no subject
"Uhhhhh." Cam clicks his tongue. "She started dating an Elecmon right after meeting him 'cause she thought it'd be interesting. One time, she brought home a Damemon saying it'd brighten up the room. She's got a sock collection, all left socks, weird colors."
He pauses to think for a moment.
"Contemplated bungie-jumping, before I pointed out she could fly. That took away the thrill."
no subject
"God," Misha said emphatically. "She sounds like a riot. Also a handful. I'm lucky Thelma seems to err on the quieter hobbies, if not less energetic..." With a shake of her head, she turned to give the digimon a sidelong look. "Who knows what Ms. Psychedelic over there is going to get into."
no subject
"Well," Cam replies, a fond smile spreading, "she's still sweet, at least. Heart's in the right place, but a little bit overbearing. This one time, I caught her putting my name on cheesy poems she wrote, to send to Maya-- oh, uh, my girlfriend."
He's one to talk, about cheesy poems. He just says that stuff in person.

Psychemon turned and regarded Thelma contemplatively. In the same tone, she said, "What's wrong with trouble?"
Misha gave an amused shake of her head. "Playing match-maker, huh? That takes a whole 'nother kind of guts."
no subject
"Not really." Cam smiles a bit sheepishly. "Like, not really matchmaking. I was already, uh... ...She was just trying to, do something nice."
no subject
"That's not the problem," Thelma mumbled.
Misha grinned. "Like putting your girlfriend in a good mood?"
