HOLIDAY ARRIVALS.

What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!

It has been a long November, and the weather is starting to get colder, a side-effect of the worlds merging. Maybe it's welcome, maybe it's a hindrance, but a rumble rises at the start of the day, signalling new Chosen are starting to arrive. Culumon bounces about the Terminal Room, lonely after waiting so long. Stepping outside, the Chosen will find a bit of a mess before them. The city's been through a lot lately.

Outside the Main Terminal, there is a bin with pamphlets to help supplement the information received on the new Chosen's D-Terminals. The information is...a little bit outdated, with last month's troubling reveals.

OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

Instantly, her nose wrinkles in confusion. "A what? Just what's a...?" She lets her question hang and shakes her head. "When I was brought here. Apparently, if you aren't close enough to...a Two-leg, you get made one. It's happened with quite a few here, and it's not any fun."

Yang is surprised by her confusion but then she remembered she wasn't exactly in Vale anymore. "Right. A faunus shares traits with animals like how you have your tail and ears. Sorry, I just assumed." Yang wasn't sure if she was supposed to apologize or not, but it felt better to be safe than sorry.

She still did feel bad about it though. "Also...that does sound pretty terrible, being forced to be something you're not."

Now Hollyleaf's stuck on the idea of it, a faunus, trying to wrap her mind around it. Distracted, she flicks an ear, a dismissing motion. "It's not...at all what I'd want, but I... I'm sorry, so it's just...a human, but with... That's so..."

She's been like this for moons, and she's now trying to imagine something like it, just naturally. "I've never thought of it before."

Yang shrugs, "I don't think they'd like that summary, but they look mostly human, yeah." Maybe if Blake got here she could introduce her to Hollyleaf. Blake would be able to explain it better.

"Anyway...how close are we now?" They'd been walking and talking, but Yang hadn't been paying much attention.

"Oh!" Hollyleaf's tail twitches. "Sorry. Just there, see that building?"

She points, with both her hand and her tail, because she's still used to using it more. A large, L-shaped place, very close to them.

Both she and the Bearmon turn their attention to the building. "Well that wasn't as hard to find as I thought." She looks back to Hollyleaf and smiles, "Thanks."

She flicks her ears and dips her head. "It was nothing, don't worry about it."

[burnblonde]

Pause and then. "Okay! If you say so."

She then looks down to her partner, "What do ya say buddy, should we try to find our room now or do you think we'll get lost doing that too?" Her voice is light hearted and clearly joking, but Bearmon actually looks like he's blushing and mutters something incomprehensible.

"Sounds like a plan then!"

Then to Hollyleaf, "Hope we didn't waste your time. I'll be around if you want to talk some more about the whole cat thing."

How shy Yang's partner is still interests Hollyleaf. It amuses and intrigues her, because she's only ever seen her own rowdy and excitable Bearmon. She returns Yang's kindness with a gentle smile.

"Of course. Not a waste at all. I'd enjoy talking again, later."

Whenever humans take interest in her being a cat, nowadays, Hollyleaf finds herself a little excited. Maybe it shows she's growing.

[burnblonde]

"Great!"

And with that Yang nudges her Bearmon and starts heading for the building, "Come on. I want to see if we're rooming with someone interesting and if I have time to get the best bed."

Bearmon said nothing, Hollyleaf was still in ear shot and he was still too shy around anyone but Yang apparently.

So the Bearmon's still quiet and shy. Of course he is, changes don't happen that fast, and she barely spoke with him. Hollyleaf's uninjured ear flicks, and she watches in amusement, shaking her head.

Maybe she should go and find her own Bearmon; she turns on heel and goes out to look for her.
