Misha was fashionably late. She had really only learned about the birthday party from the invitation, hadn't known her roommate's birthday at all, and decided to be a nice person and actually celebrate it with him. Heaven knew the kid was morose enough that he could use a good get-together to raise some spirit.

That said, it was harder to find a present than she'd thought it would be. With Thelma and Rufus as her peanut gallery, Misha had picked through all of the remaining shops in the district to find something appropriate. It had taken quite a while, but she'd managed to find a pretty awesome hoodie in the style of... well, it looked like a less trippy Rufus, actually. Gabumon. She thought it was pretty cool, and it even had little stuffed claws at the ends of the wrists.

The detour and lack of stores in the first place meant that when Misha got there, she had already missed the song and the cresting, but it didn't matter all that much. That was just the beginning, right? Right. She sent both of her partners to get drinks (one of them might get into trouble, but both should balance each other out) and looked for a place to drop her present.
