When: December 13th
Where: Public Training area... or what's left of it post-repairs. Characters do not have to know Takato and Guilmon to attend; they will have placed posters throughout the city over the past few weeks.

[It'd been several weeks in the making. Several weeks spent baking oodles of bread, getting in touch with other Chosen and Digimon, and of course helping with the repair efforts throughout this week. With dangers such as Titamon on the horizon, it seemed only right to set up a gathering for Chosen new and old to band together and practice their fighting skills.

In addition to the network announcements, Takato and Guilmon made sure to spread posters informing the populace of the event. Those who arrive on-site will find a table decked out with a wide variety of breads, with room for other snacks for those who wish to pitch in.

Arrivals will of course be greeted by an enthusiastic Guilmon and his Tamer, and while the primary focus is training, there's plenty of time to mingle, ask questions, and chow down!]

[ For those who might have gotten to known Mikasa in the past few weeks, today it appears as if all the life has been drained out of her. Her expression is with little emotion, but she does dip her head every so often to rest her mouth behind the red scarf. One thing that's really different is that she's not in her jacket or all those strange belts, dressed instead in a long flowing skirt and jacket. Something she must have picked up in one of the local stores here.

Nearby are her two Digimon. A Terriermon who has wrapped her ears around her neck to wear like a scarf to mimic her partner and a Guilmon whose taken to wearing a red armband around his upper arm. Both seem to be eager to learn while their Chosen One pokes at her D-Terminal in a sluggish fashion. ]

[Guilmon's ears perk the moment he spots Mikasa and her Digimon. Including that other Guilmon, wow! Grinning from ear to ear, he darts from the food table over to the group all while swallowing one of the pieces of Guilmon bread.]

Mikasa, hi!

[He skids to a stop, waving at her before looking to the Digimon.]

And hi to you, too! Guilmon always likes meeting other Guilmon, and I remember Terriermon from before.

[Even if he sorta was uh... a vicious beast at the time. Whoops.]

...Hi, Mikasa-chan!

(Takato came up next to Guilmon and smiled softly at her, the other Guilmon and Terriermon before going on. He did take notice of what she wore, Takato pretty used to the clothes she wore before himself but not minding.)

You look really pretty. Thanks for coming over!

[ Changing up her looks wasn't meant to draw attention to herself, but to help her blend in a bit more. She's yet to come across someone who dressed in a militaristic fashion such as herself, so maybe it would help her settle in a bit more if she wore modern clothes like themselves?

So when Takato draws attention to it, she's sheepishly hiding underneath her scarf with her darkened eyes staring over the top. ]



Don't mind her--she's a little shy! [ At least her unnamed partner is willing to speak up from her own pile of ears around her face. ] Everyone's been commenting on her looks and all she does is hide her face like this.

[ If looks could kill, there might be a glint of a pierce in the eyes of the soldier. ]

Guilmon, you should speak when you're being addressed. [ She finally says, but the red Digimon still doesn't say a word, choosing instead to stare down the other one. ] Please, it's rude otherwise.

Maybe he's just hungry!

[Guilmon glances over his shoulder and back at the food table.]

Guilmon could go grab some bread if you want. There's lots and lots to choose from!

[Is it a peace offering? Maybe. At the very least, Guilmon would hate for there to be sour feelings between the group.]

(Takato wasn't so sure about that, wondering if it had to do with Guilmon's initial attribute: that being of the Virus-type.)

It's okay, Terriermon; she's more talkative than other girls I know!

(That totally wasn't directed at Ruki by any means.)

[Hooray! Another set of guests. Coincidentally, Guilmon happens to be at the bread table, scooping up a croissant, but he stops long enough to pass it over to Tatara before waving at the others.]

Hey, are you guys here to train, too? Guilmon can help!

Well, let Guilmon know when you want to get started! It doesn't look like there's many people here yet, but Guilmon's still happy to help.

[After all, this means he can work with the people who are there.]

[An optional thread for those who wish to battle Guilmon's champion level form. Sometime during the party, Guilmon will evolve, growing from his fairly small Rookie form to a much bigger reptile.]

[For those who are a bit more daring, Guilmon can also evolve to Ultimate, becoming a massive cyborg reptile. Beware the Atomic Blasters and Double Edge attacks. Spectators may want to duck and cover.]

[Sometime during the party, between spars and between food, Takato and Guilmon will open the floor to questions, plans, and other discussion. After all, with potential threats lingering over the horizon, it's good to slow down and chat every now and then.

Characters are free to mingle with one another, threadhop, and so forth.]

[ Chika was really happy that they were finally getting around to doing some sort of training thing again. It'd been way too long since that one time that her brother had set one up. And honestly, while she's probably not going to fight herself, she's still a little bit excited to see what the others here can do.

Biyomon's watching her with a rather amused reaction, his beak somehow curled up a bit into a smile. ]

The way you're acting, it's like you're the one whose going to be doing the fighting.

[ Chika giggles, turning to look at him for a moment. ]

I'm just excited, that's all. I mean, we're getting to help people learn how to deal with all the stuff that comes up and getting some nice practice in too!

[ OOC: Chika's Biyomon can either spar as Biyomon, Aquilamon, and Garudamon, so whatever option your character is comfortable with can easily be done here. ]

[He knows those scents, and as soon as they enter, Guilmon's ears perk up, and he practically gallops their way.]

Chika, Biyomooon! Guilmon's glad you could make it.

[ Chika's kinda happy to see him, and almost moves to hug him before stopping herself. Biyomon nods, moving closer. ]

I'm glad that the two of us could be here. With everything going on I almost expected something bad to happen before this could start.

[ Biyomon was busy doing some sort of training thing with a few Rookie digimon, so he's not with her when Chika notices the rather large digimon coming near them. ]

Umm, hi there! I don't think I've seen you around the city before! Are you new?

[Leatherhead's walking out onto the training field. And though Monodramon's hanging off his back, he's the more lively of the two digimon. Duke's still caught up in his latest angstfest. But it'll soon pass once he finds something to poke fun of.

Leatherhead seems to be a bit more open, given that Gulimon's here. He's a little easier to talk with than most.]

Well hi there! My name's Chika! It's really nice to meet you!

Do you have a partner, or are you just here by yourself?

[ Because you looked pretty big and strong. Possibly even Mega Level! Not that there weren't Mega Level digimon here who didn't have partners, but most of the ones who could did, so it was a good question to ask. And well, she's excited because yay meeting new people. ]

[ She pauses for a moment, thinking it over... before her eyes widen a bit. ]

Hey, I think that Guilmon said that his right Mega form was Dukemon! That's pretty cool!

[ She pauses at what he says next though, frowning a bit. ]

Oh. Is your partner not here with you? Guilmon was like that for a bit too... but maybe you're partner will show up like his did soon?

[ ... Yeah, she has no idea how it can be complicated, and it's showing right on her face. ]

[ Huh!?

Chika immediately turns her head to look over at where Takato and Guilmon were and... nope. They were both right there. And this wasn't like the SCOPE partners thing because that doesn't make sense because they weren't from this digital world and...

Yeah. Her head hurts now, and she slowly turns her head back to him. ]

Umm... how?

Hi, Chika-chan! Hi, Biyomon; it's okay. Guilmon enjoys hugs.

(If one Tamer isn't scared of Guilmon just by his mere presence why not two? Takato can kinda tell the signs are similar.)

Did you two wanna practice first before getting something to drink?

(Either way, he did have his deck on him so he was ready to go when she was.)

Hi! Decided to train first before eating?

(Takato made his way over to this part of the training field, knowing Guilmon wasn't too far off. If he needed his partner, he'd be able to tell. Guilmon was good at things like that.)

[Guilmon bursts into giggles before nodding.]

Yeah, hugs are really nice! Warm, too, and Guilmon's a lot more huggable like this.

[Hugging Dukemon or WarGrowlmon would be a challenge! Not to mention pointy, in the latter's case.]

And um, Guilmon can evolve to whatever levels you guys want! I don't mind being Growlmon or WarGrowlmon or Dukemon or just Guilmon.

[Guilmon remembers what Monochromon said before, so he's zipping over with his arms full of a various assortment of bread, including a piece of Guilmon bread. After all, it's the best!]

It's good to see you here. And your Digimon, too. I hope you guys like this bread!
