Merry Christmas, Chosen...

What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

Dorumon sees Fluttershy before Tony does, who's too busy going being in his own thoughts as to how did he actually sleep for more than a few hours for a change. So when she sees her she comes running over without Tony actually noticing.

"Fluttershy! Hi!"

She slows down about 5 feet from her not wanting to get into her space and upset her.

"Merry kissmas!"

Hearing her name, she looks over and smiles when she sees the approaching Dorumon.

"Oh, hello...! Merry Christmas!"

"OH, Christmas? Tony was kind of vague about it! Isn't all this snow great?!"

Admittedly, Dorumon is actually really excited about all the snow and being out in the park after being cooped up with Tony all this time. Tony's slowly catching up to Dorumon, following her without thinking.

Fluttershy nods. "Mm...the snow is really pretty..."

She pauses, glancing at Choco as he gently tugs on her hand. Then, with a look of remembrance, she reaches into the bag she's holding.

"Oh, that's right...! I have something for you, Dorumon..."

[arrogantalloy]

"You do?"

She had forgotten momentarily.

"OH YEAH! You do!"

Dorumon wiggles excitedly as she watches Fluttershy's hand. Tony stops beside her and comes back to the world and looks at her then Fluttershy.

"She hasn't bullied you into getting her something has she?"

Retrieving a box with a "Dorumon" label, Fluttershy then gently hands it to the Digimon. "Merry Christmas..."

Glancing up at Tony, she just smiles. "No, not at all. I asked people what they wanted for Christmas, and she was kind enough to answer. That's all."

As she speaks, she's still searching around in her bag before pulling out another box, this with a "Tony" label on it. With a smile, she presents it to him. "Here...Merry Christmas."

"Thank you!"

She comes up and takes the box, almost hugging it before showing it to Tony. Who is just staring at the box looking vaguely conflicted.

"Uh, I have a thing. More of a peeve, really."

It causes Dorumon to sigh, because she's already very aware about Tony's aversion to being handed things and lowers her head in front of Fluttershy.

"Here, just put it on my head."

"It's nothing to do with you. I... Just, yeah."

He runs a hand through his hair in a look bordering on awkward.

She blinks, but does as she's asked and gently places the box on Dorumon's head.

"N-No, um, it's...s-sorry...I-I didn't mean to, um..."

She's not entirely sure what it was, but she still felt the need to apologize for it.

Dorumon swings her head over to Tony who eyes the box a little more before looking back at Fluttershy.

"Don't worry about it, only about 6-7 people knew back home. It happens a lot, not a big deal."

He shrugs a little and then after a moment he starts to open the box.

"Hey, at least take it off my head. I want to open my present too."

Dorumon whines from under the box.

"Tables don't talk."

Fluttershy smiles, a bit embarrassed as Tony unwraps the blueberry pillow.

"D-Dorumon said you, uh...liked blueberries, and I...didn't know what else to make, so..."

[arrogantalloy]

Tony looks at the pillow and blinks. With the exception of Pepper and Rhodie. No One really gave him presents (No, the creepy fangirl gifts don't count).

So he just takes it out and stares at it for a moment.

"Uh... Thanks."

He looks up at her.

"I. Didn't get anything for you."

Feeling the pillow leave the box, Dorumon tears into her box and makes an excited noise about her pillow.

"I love it! Thank you!"

She smiles as Dorumon retrieves the cupcake-shaped pillow. "You're welcome."

Then, looking to Tony again, she shakes her head a little. "That's all right. I've never celebrated Christmas before, so I'm just happy to make things for people. Do you...like it?"

[arrogantalloy]

Dorumon hums loudly and wiggles as she cuddles her cupcake.

"Last year was kind of my first, really. I'm not really good at it." But he nods. "Yeah, I like it." Then he looks down at Dorumon. "Where should these go?"

"On the bed, of course!"

A little relieved, she smiles. "I'm glad..."

"They're super comfy too!" Choco adds, grinning proudly. "They're definitely good for a nap."

He gives a little smile at the pillow, yup. A very cute and sweet thing to be given.

"So, you've made a lot of these, huh?"

"Oh! Napping sounds like fun with these!"

She smiled shyly, tucking some hair behind her ear as she nodded. "Knitting is a...hobby of mine..."

"She's really good at it! She makes all kind'sa stuff!"

[arrogantalloy]

"Knitting? Really? Man, now that's a hobby."

He gives a very contemplative look.

"That's. You're starting to be the poster child for, well, adorable."

"Wow! That's really cool!"

"I might feel the need to paying you to knit me things in future."

She blushed a little. "O-Oh, you wouldn't have to pay me...I'd be happy to knit something for you, if you'd like..."

[arrogantalloy]

"I'll pay. I pay for quality things. So if you don't want me to pay you, you can always not do your best for me? But I'm not going to stiff you on a great job."

[strengthinkindness]

She smiled a bit. "But I make them for fun...not for money. And I like making things for my friends...I don't need to get paid to do it."

[arrogantalloy]

"We've only met a few times. Bit early to be calling someone like me a friend, it only seems far that there's at least some kind of payment going on."

He shrugs a little, while he's used to people at parties referring to him as a friend, he knew what friend meant in that instance. But when it's a teen girl, he's not sure if it should sound sinister or endearing for a 48 year old man to be lumped in with her friends.

"Mm...well, I-I guess so..."

She still doesn't feel really comfortable about it. But if it made him feel better, than she supposes that's all that matters.

[arrogantalloy]

"It's okay, you two can be friends later. Tony's just stubborn."

He nudges at her.

"You, stop interfering."

Dorumon just smiles up at him.

Fluttershy giggles a little. "Okay..."

[arrogantalloy]

"Just give him time!"

"Okay, you. Stop trying to sound like Pepper."

He gives an exasperated sigh at Dorumon's giggle.

"Ignore her."
