Merry Christmas, Chosen...

Who: Venusmon, everyone
What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

[The Love Digimon walks and begins to pat his head, letting her Healing Therapy do its magic.]

I wish I had a better answer for your first question. All I know is that one Chosen, from another world, spirit came to the Digital World after his apparent death. It is a possibility that you might end up with a new body when all is said and done, as I believe he came back too. I truly wish that will be the case for anyone in your situation. But you should be prepared for the truth that it may not be. Or that it may not be for all.

As for the second...Well Titamon was creating the SCOPE partners via the SCOPE Virus, his own ability to damage digicores, and whatever he did to those Digivices to create them. However, with the destined partners returned to you all much earlier then he intended, that process is out.

[She stops petting Riku's head and kneels sits down.]

May I see your D-Stream please'?

So I just have to wait and see?

[He shuts his eyes, placing a hand against his forehead. This wasn't the answer he expected, but... man, he'll take it for now. It sure beats certain death, at any rate.

As for the D-Stream, he'll go ahead and pluck it from his pocket before holding it out to her.]

You know, now that I think about it, what's with these new Digivices, anyway?

I was starting to wonder the same thing. They do look a lot fancier, but why replace the one he had?

"Unforunately."

Venusmon gently grabs the D-Stream from the boy and walks around, so that she is behind him, the D-Stream facing both of them. "Because I have no idea what Titamon might of done to the Digivices you were given, with your partners."

She begins to hit the D-Pad down a bit, making sure Riku could see the function she was going to. "As well as the fact, that you are not part of the world or group that that type of Digivice was given to originally. You guys deserve your own, one for your own adventure. What they have done in the past, is essentially in the past."

She stops at the the Location/Creation function, and hits one of the buttons. A status part and a number is shown. It is at 0.001% "This is one of the SCOPE Partner functions. If your Scope partner was created, and you have yet to meet them, once the D-STREAM has enough energy stored in it, it will find your SCOPE Partner. If not, it will simply create one for you using part of your current partner's digicore. Unfortunately, when I requested the feature, I could only persuade the creator to make it a one time deal."

[He watches Venusmon intently, latching onto every word she says. So it's because they're different, huh? Well, at least they aren't copying others, then. The new Digivice looks about ten times cooler, anyway.

But as for SCOPE partners, he tenses-- though only for a moment. So either he'll find this copied partner, or it'll replicate a new one. But would Kotemon really be okay with that? Though he says nothing, he looks down at his Digimon who giggles in response.]

It's probably better to have two Digimon, right? That way we'll stand a better chance against any threats that come our way.

[A good point. Good enough that the Replica relaxes, and a smile creeps across his lips.]

True. But is there anything I should expect with these SCOPE partners? Any... I don't know, differences between them and regular Digimon.

The differences is paper-thin. Basically it's how they were created. But even then, that's all.

It really shouldn't matter in how they came to be, as they are currently beings that possess their own personality, a will, and a future.
